spring water

Here are a couple dreams from last night. They don't seem that hard to interpret, but I might overlook something, so here they are...
29 July 2009
#1 sulfer and water
There were a couple of springs in the yard that a tent with no bottom was set up over. I thought that they were the only one, but I was told that there was another on the other side of the house even though I didn't believe it. I headed toward the back yard where there was another spring, but these springs had yellow sulfer residue. When I went up front to go inside there was a hot spring next to the driveway. My mother and step-father were both in there. I thought about adding cold water to it to adjust the temperature so that it wouldn't be too hot for me, but I didn't actually get in or even plan to. My step-brother (who is very bothersome) came over and went into the hot spring. I never did go into the hot spring at the end.
#3 the jug
There was a shallow rectangular pit full of trash with a clear jug in the middle of it. The jug was full of water that was just a little bit brown and cloudy from the mud in it, and it was full but not overflowing. I saw a large bubble come up though it from the bottom and realized that spring water was flowing into it from the bottom.

#1 - A lot depends on what you think the spings mean. Water to me often means unresolved emotions in which case a spring would be something like "stuff from deep within coming to the surface". Dunno about the yellow one - some emotion that is disgusting? The hot one does seem to correlate with the "bother" and it sounds like you sense something in yourself that's bothersome and you're projecting this onto your family. But it could mean something quite different!
#2 - Interesting to get another dream with the same theme. Dirty water - again something disgusting?

The yellow stuff in my dream was sulfer, so it might have to do with fire (the opposite of water). Of course it could be something disgusting too. I also just realized that it might mean that I am concerned with my complexion or health (sulfer is supposed to be good for a complexion and it is also the color of the snot of a sick person as opposed to a healthy clear color).

Well it's whatever sulfer (we call it sulphur, if that's the same thing) means to you. If it means fire then see where that takes you. If it means complexion/health then ditto. I don't believe it will always mean the same thing to all people. And even in different dreams we have to take it in context.
What do you think the springs mean, in general?
