Snow way to land a plane

I am in a plane.  A small plane, flying over some mountains.  It's dark but the snow is white as if it's daylight.  My view is as if I'm looking down rather than looking out of a plane.

The plane is going to land, and I see the runway.  Looks more like a ski piste, and we're landing downhill.  The plane swerves round, lines itself up and starts to land. I am worried that this manoeuvre will end in disaster.

Sure enough, soon after touching down, the plane falls to one side.  I am on the side at the bottom and a woman opposite lands on top of me, which I actually rather liked.  Anyway, we're all safe and we make it out of the plane, except I couldn't find all my bags etc.

What was it about planes crashing?  Ideas coming to nothing, or something like that.

FA

I think about writing the dream down but decide to draw it instead.  I draw a front view of the small plane, kind of like

          |
         -+-
-----x---O---x-----

and turn it sideways.

As always it was a bummer waking and having to write the dream down "again".

Taking over a client

I have been asked to take on someone's clounselling client.  She's a young woman, very moody.  I am wondering how she'd feel about being counselled by me as I'm quite different from her previous counsellor (female).  I pass her on the way in and she's making a coffee.  She starts to complain about something and I say, "Sure...let's take a seat and you can tell me about it".

We sit at a coffee table (this isn't like real counselling!) kind of diagonally opposite.  Two other people are with us.  One is a supervisor and I think one is a trainer.  I start to explain about our confidentiality contract to the client but it all seems a bit silly when two others are listening in anyway.

I have been thinking about boundaries etc and perhaps I can be a bit "leaky" sometimes. I must think I'm being watched.

A distant memory, MB. Possibly a myth.

Pianola fragment

Watching a piano which plays itself.

Definitely related to the Tunng gig last night where the support performer used a card-reading musical box as her accompaniment to some of the songs.  She also played the piano.

3 pools

In a swim centre and there are 3 pools, all different.  In one some kind of game is going on and there are also some black sea lion or dolphin creatures in the water.

There were 3 pools where we stayed on holiday last week.  Dunno if there's a connection there.

Red socks

The dream, mostly forgotten, becomes a kind of courtroom or inquest drama.  I have the job of questioning a woman (who just so happens to look like Elle McPherson) about her baby, and for evidence I have some baby's red socks.

She's standing, smiling excitedly and sympathetically (like Elle seems to) as I ask questions.  I say "are these the red socks?" and she says "no, these are" and holds up a pair of similar red socks.  I look at the two guys (a lawyer and a friend, unknown DCs) and the friend says "actually they're not the real socks.  I got them from (somewhere)." Wondering now if I'm wasting my time or not, I decide to continue.

I notice now that I have one red sock and one blue sock.  This is getting confusing.

I look again and I have two red socks and I notice there is a yellow lining inside.  I look at the woman and notice she's wearing red and I can see yellow underwear peeking through below her waist.  As I'm thinking of something clever to say, I wake.

Daft dream.  I saw a photo of Elle yesterday so I guess that's where her image comes from. Socks are more common in my dreams, like shoes, except this time they're not mine. (Well, the blue one looked like one of mine).  Mainly the dream seemed to be about me operating outside of my comfort zone.

Someone called Burnham or Denham.

Both names of politicians here in the UK, presumably by no coincidence.

Like those TV series that have became very popular...

Definitely, a waste of time. But that's what they do in TV series too Wink

Supermodel, and rather nice (and intelligent).
