Well, yes, I've heard it explained that way.  No one knows what it was really like, but they say space and time each are an aspect of the other, and arose together with the Big Bang..  Which explains how galaxies can be further apart now than the speed of light limit would seem to have allowed, for example--time was also "expanded."

Your 6/6/10 dream--that is so bizarre and so amazing.  Thanks for taking the time to write it up and for sharing it.  Those kind of dreams of yours always give me so much like hope or inspiration for the possibilitiesk, if somebody sticks with dream-exploration, like you have.  Over the last few years, I know my dreams have changed; maybe everybody has capacities they don't know about unless they just keep working on it and adding to it.  Your dreams always make me want to keep trying.
Aw, thanks Moonbeam.  Smiley  Your replies are always very encouraging, and I don't think my dreams would be as good if I didn't hang out around here.

facepalm  I've really fallen behind in here lately..  Once I get caught up I'm staying caught up.  (I'm saying that here so I have to do it.)

Quote
That was cool that you had a demon too!  I was surprised at the coincidence.  I think it seemed weird for either of us; unusual for our dreams, I mean.  (I don't know who had it first or maybe it was about the same time.)
LOL  See?  I told you demons are fun.  Always interesting anyway..  I can't remember which one of us saw one first this time, but they're probably all pals or something, IDK..  Grin

Quote
Oh no, I better get to trying to upload that!  Last time my stupid camera card wasn't recognized by my stupid computer.  I'll try again.
Yes

Quote
therethere  No you don't.  I have like ten million dreams to go back and tag.  I never do it at the time for some reason and now I've gotten way behind.  But it's a good way to review your dreams.  I do the dating thing in my lucid journal so they are easier to count at the end of the month.
I never know quite what to tag, and when I do tag them, the tags seem to make it seem like the dream's about something else..  I don't know..  It's not the tag system's fault, it's just the way I always describe things that can't be put into one or two words, or something.

Infinity  I think exceptionally real real life is what we are looking for, but it's funny how we find it in dreams sometimes.
facepalm  You would have had to have been there..  Such a strange state of mind.  I was like so smug and philosophical about it, as if I knew just how real it was and no one else did.

Quote
I have to find this essay by Robert Louis Stevenson, about the little people in his dreams, and they were the ones who told him all the stories.   It reminded me of your dreams.
If you do, let me know!  He was one of my favorite authors when I was a kid..  Isn't there a quote by him here now?  I thought I saw it, and it was a really good one.  I'll have to pay attention when it comes up again.

Quote
See, like that!  Your dreams are always so full of life.  When I'm alone in mine, it's an aloneness more than anything I can experience IRL.
There does always seem to be something there, but "something" can mean a whole lot of things.  Sometimes I don't see, hear, or feel anything at all but I "know" there are all these little things there.  I don't think I ever feel alone in dreams; I've heard you describe it though, and it sounds bad.  :(

hug  I'm not just saying this, but the Candyland thing was almost certainly because of you.  (You're certainly the only person I've discussed it with in over twenty years.  Smiley)  I think this was supposed to be some sort of guy showing off thing, IDK..  It's SC's fault, IRL I'd definitely want you to play.  Smiley

It's really freaky, like if everybody else died and you knew you were the last person on earth or something.  But it usually only lasts just a moment.  In a way, I kind of like it.  I guess there are lots of dream emotions, that seem bad but they are really the only way to experience that particular profound depth.  So it's OK.  You know how dream are...I'm all aloooone  sob....yay, I'm flying!!  Cheesy

Fragments  Now in Haiku!

1
Watercolor yard
Bird's eyes hide dark universe
I am the still wind

2
Lake beneath the mist
Woman roams lost after death though
Her light is frozen

(Thank StarSeeker for encouraging the poetry.  Evil chuckle  I guess I should repeat them in English..)

I am briefly lucid in a yard where everything is lighter than air, and is the most peculiar "off" colors.  A peacock floats in midair, perfectly still, with completely black eyes--the only colorless thing here.  I have a strange sense that the world is real, but very far away..  I'm in it from a distance, somehow.

I'm deep in a foggy forest.  It's very cold and harsh, but there is a deep feeling of solemnity and sadness.  I come to a frozen lake covered in blinding white mist, above are stars and suns--the lake has its own part of the sky.  The ghost of a woman, frail and ancient, radiating a strange harmony or ancient wisdom over reality, like a witch, walks slowly out of the lake, as if in a trance.  She walks up into the air as if to ascend to the sky--but she turns to see me.  For an instant she looks as though she found something long lost, full of love.  But I think--and she knows what I think--I don't know her, I am not her companion.  In stillness and sadness become indifference from so long a time, she continues her ascent.

07-03-10

I am hiking in the woods.  I've no boat.  However, there is a wooden lift--just the sort of thing I need all of the sudden, though I'm wondering why the lift isn't a boat.

I'm wondering why I need a wooden lift-boat.  A hound dog is here.  The hound dog says "I'm going to follow you when you go down that lift."  I remember why I need the lift--there is nothing in front of me.  I stand at a precipice, but it is upon nothing, although the hound dog seems eagerly expectant for it.

The hound dog and I descend the lift, and descend into the weightless and timeless world next to all precipices.  No, I've not committed suicide, merely idiocy, and yet..  And yet.

The edge of nothing is delightful.  I say to the hound dog "How nice this non-falling yet falling place is," and we ride upon our boat down a river.  Except we're not on a river.  I don't know what we're doing.  The hound dog and I do nothing in a void; we stare at one another, but yet.. Yet.

We float down a river.

A nice nurse is giving me injections of drugs.  There are perhaps eight or nine different and colorful syringes which she cheerfully produces.  I'm insane and there are voices and dark shapes all around me, but I'm distracted by the nurse, and haven't a care in the world.  flower dance

Every insane person should have a nurse like that as that would probably cure their insanity. chuckle

A conure I used to know, and who looked just like this:
Spoiler for
is sitting on the end of the bed talking to me as I'm waking up.  This guy used to scream and torment me a whole lot, so I'm quite horrified.  However, he seems to understand my thoughts, and though I can't understand all of his words, seems regretful of his past actions, and reveals to me the reasons for it--he is really an alien.

Before my eyes, he transforms into an alien version of a conure.  He does seem much more interesting and I quite like him this way.  Around him the world becomes strange, set apart from this one, and makes him appear to be both here and on his home world.  I see strange mountains, valleys, and suns in the distance behind him, but something horribly wrong in his world defies explanation.  There is death, a dark stillness, and as he chirps and whistles I understand it to be a tale of an apocalypse.

He is saying his world is dying.  He seems to have transformed further into a sort of insect, but is still alien and still somehow bird.  I am both deeply saddened and intrigued.  I slowly begin to realize the unlikelihood of this conversation, but the more clear this becomes, so does he begin to fade.  He becomes rather desperate, trying to impart his message before he has disappeared forever.

I'm not quite sure when I woke up, and was actually surprised to find I really had awoken, and that it was not a FA.  It was very seamless.
