7-10-08Two fairly interesting dreams last night. Good recall, and one was an
MM member dream with
Hiros, and in The School no less, and I still didn't get lucid. I was trying like hell to
WILD, but still lost consciousness before I fell asleep. :(
I did feel sick this morning, scratchy throat and sore shoulders, back and neck, so hopefully, that signals the end of the about-to-get-sick crappy recall phase, and possibly the no-lucid phase as well.
Indiana Jones and the Train of Analyse
In this one, Indiana Jones was in a movie with the Mac Guy and this woman. And I
was the Mac Guy. Indy had the ability to tell the future when he said the word "Analyse." (Somehow I knew it was the British spelling too). He was about to tell me this, but I said, "I know." Then we were in this train station, stealing something from a group of bad guys. We were wearing Guy Fawkes masks (Like Epic Fail Guy (4chan meme)). We got it, and the next thing I remember is the woman took what we stole and hid it. It was my job to retrieve it then. It was in this grocery store, and I found it on a shelf at the end of an aisle. It was this little toy train which was somehow related to Indy's power to tell the future. I was wearing my blue winter jacket, and I picked up the train and thought about putting it in the inner pocket. I looked though and saw the store had cameras. I thought this would arouse suspicion, so I just carried it in my hand toward the front door, looking as innocent as I could.
As I was about to leave, a young guy sitting at the exit stopped me. I had a headset or something so I could talk to Indy, and as I was approaching the guy, I told him I was in trouble, but he didn't answer. The guy started questioning me, and when he was calling for someone else to come, I said over my headset, "Dr. Miller, I'm here at the store trying to pick up that stuff for you, but they're giving me a hard time." Then Indy told me to smile and be nice to them, I guess so that they would like me and be less likely to detain me.
Then this Jewish guy with a yamika came out and started questioning me. We were standing on those mats that are really soft to be nice on your feet, and then we sat down on some chairs by the entrance to the store. He was really nice and noticed that my socks were size 0-1/2. He said he remembered that they used to be size 0. I said that those ones got stretched and I couldn't wear them any more. He then started to tell me about the charges against me and Indy and the woman. He said that there was a 1 million dollar reward for me and the woman, and a 25,000 dollar reward for Indy. Then Indy came on on the headset and sounded mad that his reward was only 25,000.
Then I woke up.
At The School with Hiros/Avoiding bad guys at Case
In this one, I was at Case, my old college. There was an old bald guy, who was a professor, I think, and he was questioning me about my involvement with Indiana Jones. (Must have been residual from the last dream). I don't remember what he was saying, but I was trying to make like I was just another student there at Case, though I really wasn't any more. He asked what my major was, and I said "structural engineering," and then he said something like, "So you'll have an office on the 7th floor." He then asked me if he could see my office. I said sure, but he didn't come with me right away, so I went up to the 7th floor to try to find an office that I could pretend was mine. I was in this round stair tower, and was almost at the top of it. There were these narrow steps, like the steps up to the float plane that we flew on yesterday, that extended out over the round chasm below. I was climbing up on them, when a fire alarm went off. There were then tons of people out in the stair tower, and there were girls below me clinging to another level of narrow steps. One of them reached up and grabbed part of my structure. She started trembling, or shaking, and I yelled at her to let go because she was gonna make me fall.
I then remember being in The Locker Room, my recurring dream location, and
Hiros was there. It was a little smaller than the actual Locker Room. It only went on for a couple rooms, rather than forever like the real one. Me and Hiros were waiting to use the toilet, and he was in front of me. He was a short guy this time with kinda light brown hair and a light brown beard. I looked around at the locker room, and said, "See man, this is why I keep having dreams about a locker room with no beginning and no end." He didn't say anything. He might have mumbled approval, but I'm not sure.
Then I left the locker room and went upstairs and into the 7th floor door. There was a corridor and I vividly remember there being only classroom doors in there. (Actually, all this dream was really vivid). I knew there was an area with offices though, and I went through a door and found them. There were some doors right away down three long corridors off the main one, I walked down there, pretending like I was looking for someone, and an Indian professor, who I actually remember from
RL, though he was at CSU, looked at me from his office like I was up to something. Then I moved on and looked in some other offices. Most had peoples' name tags on the desks. One was empty, but it had a bunch of large rolls of paper that were plans for stuff. Another had a meeting of all professors. Another was empty, but had a really big desk, much bigger than I thought I deserved, so the bad guy would know it wasn't really mine. I looked at all the offices and noticed they all had nice windows with a nice view. I said, "If I had known the offices were
this nice, maybe I'd have come here more often!" (
IRL, when I was at Case, I was eligible to have my own office, but I didn't want to spend any more time there than I had to). Then I went around another corner where I saw a wide open room where a bunch of secretarys were working on computers.
Then I woke up.
