I've wanted to do this one for a long time.  I hope this is the inspiration I need to get it done.

This was a pretty reasonable attempt. You guys be the judge. This is from todays DJ. It was an odd experience ...

I'm dreaming about being on the couch trying to WILD. My wife and child are creating a commotion. My wife manages to get our little one upstairs. At about that time, I either briefly wake - or dream about a WILD transition ... I feel vibrations while I'm still listening to their voices trailing away. My pelvis rolls over one way and then returns to it's normal position. The vibrations stop and I'm pretty sure I'm dreaming though that whole sequence was odd.

I look around for a few clocks and they all give me reasonable times. I look into the front yard and the front light was left on - that's unusual. Then I realize it's just a passing car. I return to the kitchen and try to levitate. I seem to stay in the air a little, but again no absolute confirmation. I figure I'll go out and fly, that will confirm one way or another.

As I leave the house, I think to myself that maybe the advanced task would be interesting. I get on all fours with the intention of becoming a big cat of some kind, perhaps a panther. I start crawling around. I feel an odd metamorphasis. I take on the instincts of a panther ... the way I move, the way I growl, etc ... I start roaming the yard. Then it strikes me that my upper body has taken the shape of a panthers upper body but my lower half is frog like. My legs bow way out to the side like a frogs would. So I'm this weird human/panther/frog hybrid.  As quick as this realization begins it ends and my physical form and instincts are back to normal.

For some reason I still question whether this is a dream. I run with the intention of leaping and flying but I feel heavy and give up before I leap. Then it strikes me that it's light out now. OK - I can now say with 100% certainty I'm dreaming. It's a very pleasant fall scene with blue skies and falling leaves. I figure I'll head back to the house, find the wife and work on the orgasm task. I make it to the porch door which now looks like a door to a Nissan Sentra (better late then never for the goofy dream signs).
I wake.

I say it counts!  You changed into an animal.. in fact you changed into a couple of different ones (if you consider a frog an animal)!  Very cool indeed!  goodjob

Funny.. I don't recall that being one of the tasks! Grin

I completed another challenge, though I almost forgot about it because I thought it was last month's. That and the fact the whole night's series of dreams were fragments.

I was in a grocery store that I've been in before in my dreams and I walked to the back to grab something, but someone was following me. On the way back I became lucid and I remembered two tasks. The first was the change into animal, so I bent down and as I did I changed into a wolf. The transformation didn't feel any different from just bending down, but I changed into a wolf none the less.  Then I remembered the flame breath challenge (last month's), so I stood back up and turned human, then blew a flame and turned back into a wolf. *dream shifts to nonrelated nonlucid*

That's always a task around here!  Wink

I really want to do this one, and I want to change into a big cat too, I think.  But I'll take whatever animal I come up with at the time.  Some kind of bird would be cool too.  Or a dolphin.  Or a wolf, of course.  (goodjob wolvendeer)

You know I was trying to think about what animal I would change into and you know what I thought would be cool.. an octopus!  I mean all those different arms..  I figured that would be a really unique experience!  Grin

Yea...that would be cool.  I'd be doing good with a quadroped, but you should try it!

I walked through the door of my second-story bedroom and the house disappeared.  I was now walking on a newly paved highway in the desert at sunset.  The asphalt was dark and smooth and there were no lines painted on it.  It was time to transform.  I thought about becoming something good for running on the ground, but not something too small.  I wanted to be something fierce like a cat or a wolf . . . a cat seemed like a good idea.  I started running on all fours.  My two forelegs would leap forward to contact the ground as my body stretched.  Then my hind legs would fly forward to contact the ground in between my forelegs.  I was like a spring:  I'd be compressed all in one spot, then stretch out in forward motion.  But I was not a cat . . . I was larger and more compact and covered with long, dark, coarse fur and large paws.  I saw my shadow cast by the sunset as I galloped forward and realized that I was a bear . . .

Now I decided to try out being a bird.  I rose up into the air and started flapping my arms, making them into wings.  But the sun had just disappeared below the horizon.  What kind of bird was I if I was out after dark?  I decided that I must be a snowy owl.  Suddenly I had large, soft, white wings dappled with black which silently pushed against the air as they beat.  I glided, ethereal, around a lone barren tree by the road.

I spotted a procession down the road and floated toward it.  It consisted of man-things with bunny heads driving forward different kinds of large animals.  I landed on the ground to the side.  I remember rhinos and cows, but what attracted my attention were the giraffes.  I went and stood by a giraffe so I could model myself after him.  I told myself that it would be just like flying and pushed myself upward from the ground as I bent my body forward, reaching my hands toward the ground.  My legs stayed in contact with the ground, as my head and body went up until I was level with the other giraffe.  Now I was towering above the ground on four spindly legs with my torso tilted forward and my head above.  It felt like walking in tall platform heels; every step was a bit wobbly so I had to carefully move one hoof at a time.  The hooves muffled my ability to feel the ground like shoes.

Success last night! Actually, this was my first attempt at completing a specific MM task (quickly followed by fire-breathing).

I decided that monkey was the animal for me. There was a huge tree with overhanging branches nearby, and I was just dying to do a little swinging and jumping. Poof -- just like that I was monkeyified, and leaped up to a branch. From there, I began swinging from branch to branch, circling around the tree's perimeter. I finally grasped a dead stick instead of a healthy branch, and fell to the ground laughing the whole way. It was a complete blast!!
