First dream of the summer :

I was getting ready to go to school, and my sister had some plants that she wanted me to grow just by touching them (by touching them, more petals would spring up). So, I did that...frames later, I ended up going outside (it was really late out - night time) to wait for my bus (irl, I don't have a driver's license though I'm planning on getting it this summer). My mom was outside as well... I told her I had to go back in to get my wallet and stuff for food. I did that and also exchanged the shirt that I had on with a holographic dress. I went back outside and my mom was still there... the bus came... my mom and I went on the bus (not sure why my mom went to school with me). We stopped at a local gas station and I decided to get some food, although I didn't know what to eat. I don't know if I actually got anything to eat, but I left and went back on the bus...I noticed that we were finally driving through a level that you would see on Star Fox (the game), and asked why the bus driver was facing the passengers instead of the front while driving. He explained that it was a futuristic vehicle.... I assume there was a mirror that he could look through to see the front... anyways, I ended up at school... for Mr. M's class. The dream started fading a bit, but I feel like it was a labyrinth of sorts... and I was trying to do something mischievous.

I was in the Ocarina of Time (Zelda) universe except it looked somewhat different. In Kokiri Forest (where Link wakes up in the beginning of the game), I was climbing up mountains and going through different parts of the game (that eventually led to other sections) and the mountains nearly reached the clouds. I eventually ended up in The Forest Temple which I believe was also different, but I can't pinpoint why. I feel like it was an ice palace or had forest-y stuff with ice. The same music played.

There was another part of my dream where I was wondering about a guy with a mental illness (that I used to go to school with a few years ago) who ended taking his own life. No, in real life he didn't (or at least I don't think he did).

And I dreamed about something else and honestly wish to forget about it - but at least I ended up dreaming about Zelda!

I was in Ms. Dossett's class (3D professor) and somebody in the class told me she didn't get a good grade on something but still had a 98% in the class. Later, my teacher told me I was greedy about something lol. Then I spilled coffee on her. Yeah, no idea where this came from. O...O

Later, Glenn came into the classroom and rearranged chairs. The room later turned into outside and there was somebody crawling through snow which was webs of glue or something in the dream. He couldn't get unstuck.

I was hanging out with my friend E in real life and she was showing me her college. However, college happened to be outside and her next class was inside of a tree trunk. I was confused and after she went inside the tree trunk (because one half of the tree was broken-ish), I went over there to see if she was climbing up somewhere - probably into another dimension. Also, I could tell she was really in a rush to go to her class - people in community college seemed more chill, as if you really need to get to class when you're at Uni. I was then taken to another -class- of hers that was pretty abstract.

In this class, I noticed chopping small leaves off of some bushes and putting them in a bottle to collect as poison and infect the rest of the tree slumps. Whatever that means, I don't know lol.  Then I ended up in a college that you would see in real life (inside of a building) and I saw glimpses of a room that was forbidden - locked - until eventually it was unlocked and what I saw inside of it was the friend E as a baby - curled up and in a state of hibernation - and I was in fear of her not waking up but I knew that it was her past self and her future self was alive and well.

After that, I noticed that a square block of digital snow (that you would see on an old TV) was -fighting- its way into my friend's hibernation room... I'm pretty sure that it failed, though, but what the heck that pithy little square block of digital snow was doing, I'll never know.

Then I ended up somewhere else, seeing a person that I knew at school several years ago and he wanted to watch a Christmas movie lol

PS: something about a local surrealist photographer who had an art exhibit at my school... mentioned something about flora...

I was taken into another person's house and this person's house was pretty abstract - everything had a blueish tint to it and swirls on the wall and there was an underground component as well... this dream occurred two weeks ago and so that's about as good as i remember it, but it was cool.

My sister auditioned for American Idol and I was cheering her on....
: Re: Quantum Mirrors: Part II

I dreamed that I was 27 years old but thought that I was 29 years old.... I was done with community college but was going to 4 year university and was upset because I thought that I would be done at 35 years old. Why I thought that, I had no idea...

My sister was leaving the house and she gave me some Tortia chips. After she was gone there were some Minecraft-designed leggings (not really leggings, though) and a dress with some stars on the top.

I also had the idea in this dream that if I didn't get better at writing music that I would regret it. In real life, I actually want to take a couple of classes at university for music composition if I can even though my major is gonna be in visual communications....

I looked out the living room window and there was a futuristic construction on the driveway... basically a 3-dimensional hexagonal-like piece that looked as if it could have been apart of an installation art piece.......this dream was from a month ago, but I remembered it enough to post it. I've been really busy lately and <down with the sinuses> but my dream journal is gonna go back to what it was.

One of my teachers had a pet snake and I was in a room with it. It was in the nearby room and then it ended up being attached to me, even though I was unsure of what to feel about it. I started noodling around with some melodies and the Ladytron singer Helen Marnie came into the picture. The melodies that I played were demonstrated as filmstrips. It was kinda abstract, but she told me that I should have some of the filmstrips detached from each other. So I kinda tried tinkering with the melodies again and then the song ended up being much longer. I'm pretty sure that the Ladytron singer approved, though. Something about my adviser at school...

Something about getting a job and there were these coins that I collected which ended up being money. idk

I was in a room and I saw one of my classmates from last year. She said she was going to text me something, but I kind of knew that what she was going to send had something to do with Egypt, most likely the Egyptian pantheon. Frames passed and I ended up in a pasture and saw a red barn. I ran up a hill and start hearing a Yeah Yeah Yeahs (one of my favorite bands in real life) song. Then I was in a luscious forest-y place in the UK with a house dabbed in the middle of it. I knew that I wanted to stay there. The girl that was in that room was now identified as one of my sister's online friends and she and my brother (who seemed the same yet different) started communicating. The dream started becoming vague, but my sister's friend went to the grocery store. Something happened but I wanted to stay. I started thinking about past lives and saw myself as exploring the rest of the Earth while thinking about my future selves on other planes of existence. I had a glimpse of my brother sitting on a chair, and he looked like the same salesman that he was in real life, but I think he was in his 40s...

I was hanging out with my family members in Chicago. Everything looked different though. Three of my family members were sleeping outside and eventually one of them started looking ancient and had crispy skin with an almost offbeat silver tint and exaggerated wrinkles. He looked alien and resembled one of the monsters from Doctor Who.

It was getting really late, and I walked outside and saw a golden lozenge-like thing in the sky. It was in the wee twilight hours. I shouted to some family members 'it looks like fucking utopia", and I compared the image to a door that I would walk through and enter other realms (the astral plane maybe). In fact, even though it was a lozenge-like thing, it did vaguely resemble a door. It was really surreal to me, but then the image glazing the sky shattered within just a few seconds, and it was very dark until a single strike of lightning appeared. I said that it was cool too even though it was bleak, and my grandma said it was creepy to which I replied "the transition was cool." Then I walked inside.

There was a room with lots of food on the table, but even though it was my family members, I had to pay for it. I got chillie (I think, not sure) and my mom wanted some, but there wasn't any money left. I went outside and asked my grandma if my mom could have some for free, and she said yes.

I was at school and the bus was going to come soon. I decided to go to the hidden stash and pick out some stuff for free. There was a myriad of fun stuff. Chocolate ice cream, Pringles, some music CDs (I was eyeing the 80s Madonna ones and the one with fairy songs), a Zelda comic, and other stuff that I'll put out here if I remember. I came out of the hidden stash and back to the main room where I wait for my ride to come. There was a lady sitting on one of the seats and she told me that I might have missed it. I kept looking. It didn't come. Suddenly things started looking different. I saw somebody I knew in real life and asked her. I was waiting for a long time and nothing. Something about my sister... she called different places to ask. Eventually the bus came and I was eating my chocolate ice cream, but I had to sit behind the bus driver and there was a tabletop for me to eat my chocolate ice cream.. lol

So was this all from dream perspective?  I could totally see it!  The "hidden stash" and how, IDL we can just manifest these other pocket dimensions.  You even got your own personal tray table :D

First dream of this year is hilarious.

I was listening to random songs on my computer and there was a song with the lyrics "Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall and didn't have a fall" and I went in the kitchen and told my mom (irl my mom makes comments about Humpty Dumpty and I told her about the dream irl)

Very fitting scenario with Capaldi's recent stint as The Doctor :P.  Did you just keep walking and the environment moved around you or did you feel a transition in your weight/gravitational pull?

I think I was kinda feeling distorted with it as everything was warping and becoming more MC Escher-ish

I had two dreams! Dream 1: I walked outside and a van came up to my driveway and in the van was Salvador Dali and his girlfriend. Pretty random : O Dream 2: I was in another realm swimming in the ocean. In the dream, I attributed this to one of my past lives and knew that in this life that I'm kind of a wimp and afraid of drowning (at least I was the last time I tried to learn how to swim). Something about the 12th century (at least on this realm) and weird-looking rainbow tribal art that I found near the water. I think this imagery was inspired by the art on a Youtube video of a song that I like... but maybe it goes deeper than that. In the dream, I attributed it to the Vikings of their time. WTF lol! And then, I heard this really abstract-sounding melody that was also tribal-ish and I could resonate with it at the time that I was swimming in the ocean even though it was sort of out there. I saw it as one of my favorite songs even though it wasn't even something close to what you would hear remotely today lmao. Something about Sphongle's song Aquatic Garden of Extra Celestial Delights being made with sugar. Apparently, songs were food in my dream. XD I was clearly in another dimension, in another time period, in another frame of mind, in another reality, in another universe.

I also feel like the water that I was a part of as the weird melody played was inside of a building and I vaguely remember a crystal wall...

I ended up asking my mom about a water festival ? I was a part of in the summer (in my dream) where I remembered these tunnels in the water that I swam through... I dreamed about this before irl life and forgot about it until I was reminded in this dream.

I was treading the outside of labyrinthine buildings and couldn't figure out where I was actually supposed to be - and I ended up gravitating towards this one particular door. I kept getting knocked down some ledge I was on, though, and onto the bottom segments. I ended up exploring other doors as well and electricity zapped me from many of them. I also would walk through one door and end up in a room where other doors were spawned - not knowing where I was supposed to go. However, I got out of it somehow and I ended up outside and I went somewhere in the labyrinth where there were these 6 or 7 ankh symbols and I "selected" them to piece together an Ancient Egyptian monolith. I don't think I saw the labyrinth anymore - instead of I standing somewhere and a few feet away from me was a monolith....

I realize my dream journal has been slacking, so I'm going to write out the snippets I remember to get myself back on track (honestly school got in the way and my dreams have been lackluster for some reason - but I think my dreams will come back to me and are).

1: I ran away from my house to escape my brother (don't remember why) and he was coming after me in a car. It was twilight and eventually I ended up soaring in the sky - free - like I wanted to be. There was a golden building that I entered - something castle-like.

2: I should have recorded this one before because I forgot a lot of it, but it has something to do with these multi-colored patterns. It was really cool so I wish I wrote it down before but ah well. After that, I ended up in a room with all of these fireworks - or things resembling fireworks.

3: This dream was kind of upsetting, but I should write it down still. I walked to my neighbor's house and she tried to diagnose me with a mental health disorder. I had mental health disorders already so I didn't want to be diagnosed with another one lol. Glimpses past, I was in my room watching some weird movie. My dresser (where my TV was) was where my computer is irl.

That's it! I hope I can have some more intense dreams as I really miss them. I think - based off of these dreams - that they're coming back, though, and I got out of the habit of recording my dreams. Lucid dreaming and astral travel are so cool, though - and I'd like to explore more of that realm now that I'm out of class.

My last dream was pretty cool. I had a dream that I went inside of a van and Luna Lovegood was in it. I call Luna the space case of the Harry Potter franchise, because she's pretty quirky. I love her. She was listening to some classic electronic song from Tangerine Dream... lol, it was pretty random. I'm not sure she would be into that - but I think my brain associated her quirkiness with space case/space age LMAO. She was listening to various other songs after that song.

I then saw a galaxy tattoo on the palm of my hand - blue nebulae galaxies and my nails were galaxy-painted as well.

Cool.  Tangerine Dream,  I forgot all about them. I have several of their CD's in my collection of music to relax to. I used to listen to all the time. I listen to Cryo Chamber now quite a bit, on youtube with my noise cancelling headphones. Ever listen to that stuff?  It's great.   Also other youtube relaxation stuff. Nature and fireplaces and storms all that good stuff. Cryo Chamber has been broadcasting a live 24/7 channel which is nice to just put on and listen to, doesn't stop.  I hope they keep it up. Every now and then the channel goes offline for a little bit and they repost it. But so far at least it always comes back.

Last night I also had a couple of show characters appear in my dreams.   It's fun when that happens.

Sounds like an awesome tattoo you had on your palm lol. I bet that was wild to look at.

I had a dream that my mom played Assassins Creed which my sister said was similar to Zelda and actually thought it was similar.

I ended up in a room with these weird glowing glyphs (?) and some other people and one of them brought up space people and I ended up hugging somebody whose skin resembled constellations/nebulas. I worried somebody thought I was trying to take them away from somebody else, but I couldn't help but feel as if I was a part of the divine through what my brain thought of as some kind of soulmate.

I ended up in a video game - apparently Halo - and I was going down an elevator at rapid speeds. It was quite thrilling lol.

I'm not sure. I'd have to look through my CD's I don't remember, it's been a while since I listened to my CD collection. I should look them up on Youtube.

Here is the Cryo Chamber 24/7 link I'm listening to right now. Every now and then their 24/7 channel goes down and they repost it on  different link though.  But  I'm sure if you click on it and it's not there you can still find it, and a list of the stuff they upload. They are uploading new stuff constantly it's hard to keep up with it. But I think you would like them if you're into that kind of stuff. I actually have a different playlist for the 24/7 channel than I do for the rest of their stuff that I save. They even have a lucid dreaming track.

Or you can also just do a search on youtube for them there stuff will come up right away. It's very cool of them to be giving everyone so much free content to listen to.

Nice one on the Halo dream.  I bet that elevator ride was awesome... Those video game dreams always have a chance of transitioning to lucidity since you're  already in the frame of mind that it's not the real world. It's happened to me more than once.

Thank you for the link! Floaty space music. I think in the upcoming weeks, I should make some playlists for lucid dreaming. Related to video games, I very much had a dream like that a couple of years ago that - even though I didn't attempt on purpose - was on the edge of lucidity.

I have a fascination with music that takes me to abstract space worlds. I found so much music over the years with that type of feel. Solar Fields, Magic Sound Fabric, Future Sound of London. FSOL - Lifeforms (the CD) is some intriguing stuff.

I was walking outside and I saw several strands of holographic beads on the ground and picked them up without being caught picking them up (because they weren't mine). I put them somewhere by my house and put a brick on top of some of them - thinking that would help. I don't steal things irl - not sure why my brain conjured this.

I ended up at school and I saw my old social worker there. I didn't get a huge chance to speak to her, though.

I also saw some random girl I knew from back in the day (irl she was a bitch but I hung out with her in the dream). I got some salsa and chips and sat down with her.

Later my friend turned morphed into my friend Emily and things got interesting. I started talking to her about Atlantis, because I watched Atlantis: The Lost Empire a day beforehand, and some of the images on the movie reminded me of a past life. In the movie, I saw a few dome-shaped buildings, a really beautiful path of greenery that sort of resembled something on Zelda that also reminded me of a past life (I had images of walking through an ethereal green forest-like path and it was on the movie), the futuristic underwater buildings and electricity that sparked everything. Not to mention, in the movie - some of the buildings were golden and there was some type of wall with this weird looking tribal art as well as these faces cupping a crystal and it resembled something my brain thought up in another dream.

She said it wasn't weird if I started talking about this - because she's talked about certain things too at school.

Fun adventure dream. I love chips and salsa, probably one of my favorite things. I like all the video game influence.

I was thinking about playing my Dying Light game, to help influence both some parkour, and zombie apocalypse dreams. Also maybe some of my VR games, because VR influences some bizarre dreams.

Maybe just hang out for a while at the virtual mansion I built in the virtual mountains with the deck overlooking the lake. Maybe go for virtual walk along the virtual river and catch some virtual butterflies, and pick some virtual flowers for making potions at my alchemist table. Or go for a swim. And get washed over the waterfalls. That's always fun. Skyrim VR is a wonderful, beautiful VR place, to either just hang out, explore, or go on some crazy adventure. Looking forward to the new one they are working on, will have more up to date graphics. I'm sure the world they are building with the modern tech will be incredible in VR.

Thanks! And that reminds me: have you ever played Mirror's Edge? I *think* you would like it!

I can attest to VR influencing bizarre dreams!

I never played Skyrim but it's supposed to be really good!! I think I would enjoy it!

I have a soft spot for Zelda and Final Fantasy 10!

I never played Skyrim either until it came to PlayStation VR. Because I had skipped a couple generations of video games, giving them up for a long time. But got a PS4 when it came out. I had no idea when I got the PLaystation, I'd be experiencing VR on it... It's really amazing.

Yeah, Skyrim is a great VR game, even if a little graphically outdated because of originally being a PS3 game. But is still very beautiful and an amazing world to hang out in and explore. But  they are working on a new one, for the current age, and modern VR. Should be Phenomenal.

I put  in Skyrim for a little while yesterday to experiment with doing awareness meditation in virtual reality. Was fun, just wandering around looking at everything questioning if I'm dreaming. Unfortunately I can't use my watch as an RC in VR since I can't see it. Have to either nose pinch, or look at something I can read and use that. I use my swivel chair for VR and spent some time sitting out on my deck at the lake house. Enjoying the scenery, listening to the song birds. Watching a hawk flying around. It started raining and was cool to look up and see the rain drops coming down on my face.

I've heard of Mirrors Edge. I'm sure I'd probably enjoy it. But I'm kind of partial to Dying Light as it's parkouring through the Zombie apocalypse. My two favorite things combined. Doesn't get any better than that, unless they find a way to do it in VR  too. :) VR needs a really good zombie apocalypse survival game. I have Arizona Sunshine which is fun with the Aim Controller. But they could do much better than that. It's kind of a simple game, and a bit cartoonish. But still entertaining.   Resident Evil biohazard VR is awesome but not really a zombie game.  It's more like surviving the house of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre family mansion.  With bizarre mutations and monsters too. It's insanely fun though in VR. With unbelievable true to life scale monsters and demented mutating family members.

Ahh, that's fair!

I loved the Mirror's Edge game (even if I couldn't beat the end lol) due to the futurist settings and the music by Solar Fields! ^___^

My best friend is a big fan of the game Alien: Isolation~

have you played that one?

It has a lot of scenes that are supposed to be jump scares due to this creature named the Xenomorph. It's in futurist settings. I heard it's supposed to be really good, but I never played it - or Dying Light.

There was a garage sale and I went there to see what I would be able to buy. Apparently, they had Zelda: Spirit Tracks that I never played irl and some other games so I went back home to ask my mom if I could buy it and she said no. I did end up buying it though. Later, I went back there and Alin (my friend who likes Ladytron) was there LMAO. Not expecting it.
: Re: Quantum Mirrors: Part II
: Caradon July 26, 2019, 08:04:20 AM
No I never played Alien Isolation. Wanted to though. I didn't know it was a jump scare game, though I can imagine there must be some of those. I thought it was more psychological fear. As your character is weak in comparison to the alien. And you have to try and survive being on the ship with the vicious monster that probably wants to impregnate you. Because that's how those aliens reproduce. Planting the alien babies in your stomach and they grow and rip out through your stomach killing you in the process. Didn't you ever see the movies?

They call it Xenomorph because that's what they called the aliens in the movies. When I was a kid my mom took me to the second Aliens movie when it was in the theater, made by James Cameron. Same person that made Avatar and Titanic, Terminator 2. I had no idea what I was in for. Seeing Aliens in the theater as a kid was the single most terrifying movie experience I ever had.

I was at a park and the children there were just playing around.
I ended up inside of a glider and wanting to fly. I was thinking about some of the music I think would suit gliding.

That's all. lol.

I was at the university that I'm attending irl in the spring except it was... different. I was sitting on a table and somebody sat next to me and we became friends, but she went to get some food. However, I couldn't figure out where the food place was and while looking for it, I ended up in a futuristic-looking room where people were sitting at computers next to showers! It was really bizarre. I asked around for help and somebody told me I wouldn't be able to guess where the cafe was and they took me there and it wasn't where I thought it was.

The entrance was a reddish door that slid open by itself and there was another door with a slot where I had to enter my ticket a certain way for it to work. I ended up there finally and somebody that I knew from art camp was there (the director of the art camp!) and she gave me a hug and asked me if I ever got my driver's license - so apparently somebody must have told her I was in the process of getting my driver's license. I said I was getting it in the next two months if everything goes according to plan. Then I saw my friend again...

Later, my friend Emily was there, and she was working on an animation project with one of her other best friends - and I asked how they got the effects a certain way - or how they animated the characters and stuff (like the process). Emily put an extrude effect on a door that was in the animation - and her friend did most of the characters. There was another animation piece that Emily did that featured a trance song I used to listen to back in 7th grade and rediscovered in the last two years - and it was projected on a holographic screen for display. So, yeah, this whole college was really futuristic.

Later, I ended up at community college in math class. I was trying to catch up on all of my assignments. I asked somebody a question about computers... don't remember the question.

Before this whole dream, I had another dream but I forgot most of it. I do remember being trapped by flames and trying to get out of the flames and my friend Emily was there, too. I think this dream stemmed from her having a connection with Apokolips. Then we excited the flames and ended up somewhere else... don't remember. There was something about a bathroom and a toilet lol. And then trying to get across a certain labyrinth and people were eating after they were done but some were denied food... ??? Yeah, if I suddenly remember - I'll put it up.

Your futuristic college sounds like an inspiring place to be. I wish I could dream of such places. My schools are boring old typical schools with boring old typical subjects. I hope you dream of it again.
: Re: Quantum Mirrors: Part II
: kineticwaves August 25, 2019, 04:27:44 PM
Hey, thanks! I actually had a similar dream today.

I don't remember all of it, but I'll write down the parts I remember before they slip away.

I was talking to a friend on Facebook about some random song (that doesn't exist irl) and while I was talking to my friend I ended up transported to another realm of my religious beliefs in the dream. There were two portals, one named heaven and the other named hell and the one named heaven was an afterlife influenced by sci-fi things. By entering that portal, I'd end up traveling between several dimensions - there was a black sphere that I was traveling in - and it felt sort of like a roller coaster. While traveling, I was moving around the sphere... I compared it to the opening scene on Dr. Who. My brain also conjured up the idea of Egyptian stuff in this portal as well and I ended up saying that this afterlife combined is what I believed in.

My friend and I ended up in the portal / sphere together one time... kind of forgot some stuff, because I was gonna write this down earlier...

Something about some office room with books? I think I met my friend here again...

I was in a futuristic room at school and it was very white and minimalistic but there were posters on the wall that had the names of all of the courses on them. The posters looked really sleek and the whole room looked futuristic. I heard this futuristic sounding melody in my head and woke up with it...

I ended up talking to my friend ? I think about tarot cards and I said I liked the one with the pink design but she said she liked the one with the blue / industrial design and I mentioned my interest in a lot of the futuristic art stuff... don't know if this person I spoke to was the same person as the one I talked to on Facebook...

There was another part of the dream but it was kind of gross and involved bugs... there were rooms that had invisible bugs that needed to be vacuumed and I worried that there were bugs in my room that needed to be vacuumed... not sure why I'd vacuum them lol.

It's been a couple of months, because of braindrain i guess... but,

I had a really strange and somewhat terrifying (although interesting at times dream)

The first part was what freaked me out

I was in the living room talking to my mom and she mentioned something hurtful about why my brother had to die when he was the one with faith and why I still got to live. And in the dream, she talked about how the Illuminati wanted my brother dead and wanted me alive due to our different religious beliefs. It was really fucked up, and irl my mom doesn't talk about conspiracy theories like the illuminati lol, but before my brother died, he had an obsession with conspiracy theories like the illuminati and irl my mom brought something up about my brother's obsessions with it

In the dream, I talked to my sister as well about a dream I had and she told my mom and my mom and sister were freaking out and saying that even though things are going mostly well for me irl (like my art stuffs) that I'm going to burn in hell. That didn't feel good. : / But yeah, onto the next part of the dream I envisioned myself on one of the levels on the Tron game (that I bought off of steam) which looked different and I was trying to collect these purple orbs...

And then there was something about Future Sound of London's otherworldly/alien CD that I like - Lifeforms - each segment of the CD representing different paths... the last part being enlightenment and everything sort of blurred... but yeah...I think I was walking down my street trying to escape all the chaos that was going on around me and then I tried going to my neighbor's house to tell her that my mom and sister said that I'm going to burn in hell and that's my fate that I can't escape, even if I live an artistic life on Earth

But yeah... then there was something about an apocalyptic image in the sky of giant purple orbs and reds...

This dream was a strange mixture between fucked up, terrifying, and interesting at times, and I had to record it

To clarify: even though my mom isn't necessarily *happy* with my own beliefs, she would never say that about my success/happiness irl. This part of the dream manifested due to a conversation we had the day before about my brother's obsession with Illuminati/NWO and other nutty things like that

Alsoooooo,

there was another dream that I a week ago that I remember the last part of... and it was literally a part of a song that I was going to work on...

I had somebody singing in an alien voice "we'll all be living in stardust, in the land of free" and I still have to freaking make it... I've been learning to make like synthwave lately but I'm pretty sure that song would be like ambient with some tribal sounds and sci-fi noises

But yeah, I can still hear the lyric in my head of the girl singing it before my dream glitched and I woke up

: Re: Quantum Mirrors: Part II
: kineticwaves October 23, 2019, 05:48:31 AM
My brother and dad were still alive and I looked in the refrigerator for pizza rolls, because I saw a whole bunch of other food that my dad bought. There weren't any pizza rolls, but there was a lot of other food.

There was an enneagram/mbti wheel thing being spun and I kept trying to use it to see what mine would end up as and I kept getting the same few options although irl I'm pretty sure on my type

Something about how my brother was focusing on finishing a game and how I wanted to, but I was obsessing over my school stuff. I saw a vague window into a menger sponge fractal dimension which was related to the game  my brother was playing and I ended up inside of that dimension which was kind of Inception-esque (squares upon squares, think infinity) and I was trying to find all of the hidden levels/codes within the dimension and then I noticed a space which I fell off of but then landed on top of other menger sponge squares although they were really small and if I fell down I would end up falling into even another dimension lol although one of the menger sponges was moving (one of the squares) to get me to another part of the platform and I referred to this as one of the weird levels of the game when I probably should have found more obvious levels... and my brother told me about a weird secret code related to this particular level...

Something about how I like purple but my brother only likes purple with a reddish tint and what he referred to as greenish purple (which wasn't purple and looked green lmao)

My dream was weird. I was outside and I decided to take a walk, but as I hit close to the end of the road, I felt like I needed to turn back. Then as I was turning back, these orange lightning strikes were hitting the ground. As I was walking back, they kept trying to reach me, but didn't. Then as I was close to my house again which looked . . . different (I think dome-shaped and wooden if I'm remembering correctly) and penguins were falling out of the sky and I saw penguins chilling back where I walked from... I was holding one of the penguins and was like 'awwww!' but I couldn't figure out why there were penguins where I was lmao. Then I went on Discord on Amduat Caverns and asked why I was experiencing this stuff (with the lightning strikes and penguins)

annnnnnd... irl, I made that song that I dreamed up (we'll all be living in stardust)... it must have been my subconscious mind speaking to me, similar to when i started dreaming up gramophone fish and they ended up in my drawing Dream Synthesis : D

They always come back, if you want them to badly enough. When I decided to start writing in my journal again, I decided I would write something every day even if there was nothing at all recalled.  That's what I will write, that I didn't recall anything. Or if there was a vague feeling of the dream. I will write the feeling, and what I suspect that I might have been dreaming. I think the important thing, is putting in the effort, to convince your mind that your dreams are important enough to you to remember.

That also depends on how well my wrists hold up of course.  I should probably avoid typing much on other forums and save it for my journal as much as possible.  Maybe if I get off the damn caffeine I won't be as compelled to chat quite as much, lol.

Definitely!! I'm not sure if there's a connection between dreams and caffeine (at least in my case), because I've had vivid dreams even when I drank caffeine, but I definitely heard that. It seems they come and go and come and go, which is okay. Sometimes school and stuff gets in the way and I take breaks from my journal.

Well I have proven to myself that I can have recall while on the caffeine so I was thinking it might be okay. Though caffeine has always been a detriment to dreaming for me.

If I'm not on it I will just all around be better able to focus and concentrate on my dreaming which will of course help the progress of both recall and lucidity. Even for the simple fact that I'll be more inclined to sleep a little more, and be able to do more proper WBTB's.
As it is, on the caffeine, the first thing I think of when I wake up and look at my clock is if it's time to get up and make my coffee yet. And I just want to wake up and get high on caffeine and watch something on Netflix. So that in itself is a distraction and detriment.

But at the same time, it's difficult to want to give up the one thing in waking life that I have any interest in anymore, and one thing I look forward to waking up for. But on the flip side of that as well, I know I'll be in a way better place mentally when I have my dreaming back on track and feeling more back to my old self, maybe, hopefully.

I haven't remembered my dreams lately except for today.

I was in my room and a weird person from VC (on Discord) was talking to me and from what I remember - they were trying to help me with something. I felt awkward though so I went outside - except I went outside through my art room window. It was light out and sunny and I was walking through somebody's yard. I was then on the sidewalk and it was suddenly rainy and dark - yet I felt somewhat calm-ish. My mom was to the store and I wanted to call one of my friends so I did - while I was walking in the rain late at night. We were talking about hanging out on a day I wasn't at school and finally decided on a day - a Wednesday. I kept walking and ended up at the library and saw some interesting books about folklore and stuff. One book was about rune stones and caught my eye. I also saw a fairy metropolis book (that I own irl) and wanted to check it out... I saw a box of poly-sided dice.

That's true. I think caffeine effects people differently. I've had some really vivid dreams after drinking caffeine before and times where I drank caffeine and didn't remember my dreams. I'm almost inclined to think it doesn't effect my dreams, because my dreams (or lack thereof) are dependent on other factors - like stress or a lot of stuff going on or creative ideas swimming in my head.

Hope your dreams come back!

I dreamed about one of my favorite painters Josephine Wall and asked her how I can improve my own artwork and get to that level. I saw a glimpse of a blueish room with cubes and something about starseeds on Tumblr. Except from what I can remember, I felt drenched in the blue worlds. I wrote something about a hole that was drilled into my face on Discord. I was stressed because I thought there was something wrong, but the rest of the dream was super interesting to me. I'd like to make a semi-aquatic blue world with cubes. Probably tesseracts.

It was good!! I can see why I dream a lot about my favorite artists and such.

I only remember fragments (need to retrieve it from my memory to the best of my ability) from my last dream sadly but I was on a Discord server and there was another person that I never saw on Discord irl. Someone said that another music artist has died and I said what I said "something.... RIP" and was feeling bad because the two people my friend mentioned took their own lives, and another friend mentioned a music artist he liked had a seizure and died and now ... Another music too (that doesn't exist irl).

I had poems and I felt embarrassed by one of them because it didn't align with my beliefs but my neighbor really liked it. She said I should put it in my poetry book although I was cringing at it. Then I was on the road and my mom was going... Somewhere....she was behind the snow plow guy and I wad kind of creeped out. All of us ended up at our house and I was feeling uncomfortable because irl he acted creepy around me and I hid in my room when he was there. I was drinking what was known as jelly-flavored coffee (yeah idk) ...

It was night time and I was outside and saw my dad and asked him questions about Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton lmao

I had two dreams about my new school that I start in a few weeks. The first dream included me being in a tattoo parlor with clothes and stuff as well near the school that I looked into. I got a nebula galaxy tattoo on my chest and was also debating on getting an Eye of Horus tattoo as well as a moon cycle tattoo above my nebula galaxy. I also saw a jellyfish dress and galaxy-themed clothes that I saw in real life on Amazon and black and white striped leggings... Oh yeah and a purple crystal pendant and a moon child top.

The second dream I don't remember as much but it included me returning to the dorm that I was in a year before.. and I had all of my stuff tossed everywhere and there was another person sleeping as well. It didn't look like a college dorm... Something about going to restaurants and stuff with other people so I don't get kidnapped. Pizza restaurant...

Good luck on the new school. I hope everything goes well there.

I'm into them but didn't get any yet. And I'm thinking about getting my first one next year if I can. If I get a job and use a part of my paycheck I'll probably just take the college bus to a tattoo parlor and get one.

And thanks!
