It's funny, we started out with slap-bug, but evolved to punch-bug on our own.  You and johnb started out with punch-bug and slug-bug, I imagine for similar reasons (your predecessors realized that a slap was not as much fun as a punch.) So the violence escalated. I wonder what kids today are doing, "roundhouse kick to the head-bug"?  "Stab in the heart-bug"?  shakehead

Probably totally non-violent these days. Hug-bug, or something like that.

There's only a small difference between "now a days" and "yesterdays" -the big difference has always been between pockets of violence and hobbit shires. Violence is always a surprise if you're not expecting it - silly hobbits!

I put this somewhere here, I can't remember where now.  I just learned that humans evidently have fluctuations in neurotransmitters according to the phases of the moon. I knew that's why the menstrual cycle is 28 days long, evidently related to the release of melatonin, which normally (in the natural state, before electric lights) goes up and down with the phases of the moon (people are so sensitive to light that a full moon would cause a decrease in melatonin), but I didn't know about the other stuff.  Acetylcholine week is the first week, coinciding with the new moon (I think.)  So that might be the best dreaming week.  Serotonin week is next, not a good dreaming week, I figure.  Then dopamine week, then norepi week, both which have some potential, but maybe not as good for most people as ach week.

A full moon would decrease melatonin, so that would seem to be good for dreaming.  I don't now enough about the phases of the moon to know which week it is--is it in the middle?  So, end of serotonin week and beginning of dopamine week?  That would seem to be good for dreaming too.

I haven't heard of that. How does that work?

Oh, the designated cement monster's feet have to stay on cement, and tries to get the other people as they run back and forth from the grass on lawns to the grass between the sidewalk and the street.  Some people call it concrete monster, some call it cement monster, depending on which block you live on.

I just realized, it's tag.

Probably totally non-violent these days. Hug-bug, or something like that.

Aw, hug-bug, I hope so.   love

I'd be so pissed off if someone took the punching out of punch-bug.  boxer

Think about it:  this hug would be much more annoying to your siblings than this boxer

Evil chuckle

That poop-snake stuff was interesting.  I did not know that.  I guess they don't live where I've lived, so I never got to see one.  We do have hog-snakes which play dead and ooze and do repulsive things when threatened.  But I'd like to see the poop-snake hiding its head and sticking out its tail.

((my header banner ~ collage of awesome John Howe art))

I was going to start a blog dedicated to this but decided against it because when I really thought about it I don't want to share these dreams with a planet of potential strangers. So I'll put it here, where I feel all safe and snug-like.

This journal is where I'll chronicle my attempts and eventual successful acquisition of The One Ring from Lord of the Rings. My major goal is to try on the ring while lucid just to see if anything will happen. Once I recover my files from my busted laptop, I'll put them here.

Haha. Forgot this was here... again.
Moutains...

Me & Bilbo Baggins & Gandalf the Grey happen upon a troll hoard in a small mountain. I try to load up on the riches but Gandalf tells me to put it all back. We have a long way to go and I'd have to carry the stuff the whole way. He knows thought of the treasure will cloud my mind so he tells Bilbo he will have to erase my memory. Bilbo responds with, "She can't remember anything to begin with. She'll forget about it soon enough." I agree, "Yeah... I'm practically senile." Gandalf doesn't buy it and holds his hand over my eyes. Next thing I know we're trailing along behind the wizard and I can't remember where we were or how we got there. Damn wizards.
