WBTB at 8 (6 hours after I fall asleep)
I was just to tired to get out of bed this time. I didn't have the greatest sleep. Although I do remember that I was having a conversation with one of my friends. Don't remember any content.

Wake up at 10
I am watching someone do uneven bars and it is very impressive.

I fell asleep again after having to do something that involved actually getting out of bed (I'm still readjusting from summer schedule). I am on two docks that are conjoined in the middle and a few of my friends and I are playing against an all girl soccer team. I was just sitting on the sidelines but then I turned to one of the girls also on the sideline and asked if I went in she would want to go in. The waters start getting quite rough and it becomes impossible to keep playing. This is where it gets complicated. I'm half in the dream and half out. So I decide it would be more dramatic if I had cut my arm and then decided to rescue the soccer team. The waters get even more rough to the point the docks are flipping. After the tsunami dissipates I try to rescue as many players as I can. I rescue three of the 5 and I am pretty satisfied.

It seems to me that most people put poetry or a deep meaningful quote, so I will put the most meaningful quote that comes to mind,
"A great poet once said the best way to get over a woman is to turn her into literature"
"Ya, well that guy had a lot more sex than me"

So, I recently found a half-baked attempt at a dream journal, read over the dreams and came across some dream goals that brought to mind a lengthy list I had made a while I ago. Recently I have weeded out some of the dumber and more childish ones (some I kept, of course). Here we go:
1. Ask subconscious questions
2. Slow-mo
3. Control of water/ice
4. Telepathy
5. Control of electricity
6. Spray acid from fingertips
7. Raise an army and wage war
8. Cause Apocolypse
9. Extend dream time (at least a day)
10. Go into a tv
11. Be flash (super fast)
12. Ask the subconscious the best way to lucid dream for me
13. Swordfight
14. Reach the event-horizon of a black hole and watch the world go by extremely fast or maybe instantaneously
15. Time-travel
16. Invent/splice new animals
17. Zombies (obvious choice) although I did have several z-day dreams that scared the crap out of me
18. Ask the subconscious to show my fantasies
19. Breathe fire
20. Open a box marked surprise
21. Go outside and super fast rewind to the beginning of time
22. Ask the subconscious to write/compose a book/song/poem
23. Make evil self then battle
24. Make nanobots. Because.

Also, as a kind of curiosity. I put a star beside an idea that I had to "defragment" the mind like on would a computer by imagining mental combwebs (the idea came from pyschonauts), it sounds childish, but, interesting...

I did not recall anything upon awakening but It just hit me that One of my friends irl are actually building a new computer rig and in the dream he had me buy his computer parts because he didn't have enough money.

Oh and thanks dryalantha! I've been into lucid dreaming for years now, I just never had the discipline to stick with journaling. Never been a morning person.

I specifically remember an acquaintance of asking for a cup of tea at the place that I work at, there was something profound about it at the time, but now I can't think of it.

Oh, by the way, this was from this morning, just accidently never posted it.

I'm in my AP Lang class and she is making us write in nothing but pen. Suzy makes a comment that it's awesome that we can write in pen because not a lot of our teachers like it that much and I also really like to write in pen. The teacher then makes us get into our groups from the other day. Someone that wasn't there the other day has to pick their group. He picks an all girl team and I believe all of the girls are ones that aren't in the class. They seem really reluctant to actually be in the group with him. I look over and one of the girls are crying. I ask her why she's crying and she says that her contacts are bothering her.

I also just remembered that in another dream I was being chased by a helicopter that was shooting at me. I found my mom at a Walmart-esque superstore, next to the gun and knife cabinet. I gaze at all the sharp and dangerous objects and asked her if I could buy a gun for self-defense. She said absolutely not.

No recall this morning. Mostly because I was pretty exhausted by the time I went to sleep and only got about 6 hours. Hopefully I'll have better luck tonight. May try a WBTB. Of course, I don't have that established of a sleep schedule yet though.

Well, tonight, I upped the lucid dream ante. I can't depict the whole lucid dream, nor all the dreams I had after the fact because I just now am getting a chance to journal them.

An Imaginary Room
Alright, I am trying to convince my DC friends that we are, in fact, in my lucid dream. I attempt to shoot lighting then fire from my hands to no avail. My DC friend attempts to mock me and that's the last straw. I remember a tutorial about shortcuts in lucid dreams so I realized I need to stop trying to control what will happen and just let it happen. I conjure up all the concentration I can and out of the background spouts a volcano of massive scale. I marvel at the size of this behemoth while silently reminding myself I am in a lucid dream so not to lose myself within the volcano. I skip around after this and suddenly regain memory after I decide to construct a room around myself to talk to my subconscious. The entire room has a calming pinkish hue and I begin to concentrate on asking my subconscious to aid me in my lucid dreaming attempts.  After this quite intense scenario I begin a long chain of 10 minute naps all with quite vivid scenery. I think this is called Hypnotic Fractionation with each subsequent break in concentration you fall deeper into the dream faster. Awesome progress if I do say so myself. Pat on the back, not to gloat or anything...

Yet again, for the second day in a row. Just got about 6 hours of sleep. I just don't feel like journaling that early in the morning after that little bit of sleep (for me).

Hey, I'm trying to get back into the habit of the dream journal, do you want to be my "dream journal buddy" for lack of a better term to, make sure that we both stay dedicated to this?
