I would say put a Hide/Show link to it (like the spoiler block here) on the tutorial page for CAT.  The original was posted on the novadreamer forums, and no longer exists.  Good summary, I understood everything without having to read the article, and then the article served to reinforce things for me.  Once I get my sleep schedule sorted out, I'll have to give this a try.

Good summary!

I think we should put the summary up front in the tutorials too, and link back here to the article in the forums.

Sound reasonable?

Nice summary. very clear. Actually, I had never heard about this technique before. Seems to me like you give up even more sleep than just doing a WBTB though. You're losing 90 minutes a pop on a number of consecutive days. Ouch!

Ok - well, we tried.

I did as mentioned; posted your summary up front with a link to the thread here where the full article is.  It IS explicitly available to non-profits, and we are most certainly that.  We're negative profit!

I have one thing to offer here. I have actually been thinking about this technique a bit.

Historically, I've done lots of lucid attempts using WBTB at the time I would otherwise be waking.

For example, on a work day with a morning workout, I would rise at 4:00. And stay up of course.

On a weeday lucid attempt, I would rise at 3:00 and go back to bed around 4:00. It is interesting that the 4-5 am hour would normally be used in an alert and awake manner. But on the lucid dream attempts I was trying to sleep during that time where my brain was trained to be awake. Hmmm.

Interesting observation.  Perhaps this has something to do with why I get lucid during naps?  That is, after all, normal "alert time".

:peek: This could also potentially be used with WBTB.  I slept through WBTB this morning after keeping it religiously M-W-F for a few weeks now, and I had a lucid while I should have been in WBTB.  I've decided to switch to T-R-S so as not to lose 1/3 of my WBTB nights for the week, so I'll see if this pans out at all.

The CAT technique is very interessting. In Germany it was introduced by Simon Rausch in his lucid Dreaming panel. He describes the technique very well.
