Back-Side Induced Lucid Dream?  (BS-ILD).

I think I tried it a couple of times, not because I wanted to but because WILDing on my back mostly fails.  :)

Did you see the dream start when you rolled over?

Yes, I thought I fell asleep and woke up again but when I did a RC I knew I was dreaming.  :)

I hope it's not BS.  :chuckle:

I'm sure it isn't.  It will probably work for me - I rarely can sleep on my back.

I just re-read what you said; you thought you fell asleep, so you had a time gap.  This is different because there is no time gap.

Hmm I guess you are right because there was indeed a time gap.

Nice idea! Have to try it, since I can never get to sleep on my back.
In the secret space of dreams
Where I dreaming lay amazed
When the secrets all are told
And the petals all unfold
When there was no dream of mine
You dreamed of me.

I should have mentioned that this is a technique for in the middle of the night, not first thing when you go to bed, for REM reasons.  Probably everybody knew that.

I'd assumed that, but good to know. I've been trying the SSILD technique lately, too. Hasn't produced any LDs, but it does sometimes produce (or, more likely, allow me to notice) HI, which I don't recall ever noticing before. Doesn't ever work when I first go to sleep, even though I've tried it a lot just for fun. Only works after waking up and going back to bed.
