What do you mean?  That's what I'm talking about; doing it in the simplest yet verifiable way possible.  That's not putting the cart before the horse...it's just doing it, lol.

OK, so you ask me a question in a dream.  If you get an answer from me, don't tell me what I said.  See, if you tell me, then I could just agree, whether you are right or not.  Similarly, you can't ask me what the answer is before you tell me what you found out in the dream, because you could just agree with whatever I say.

For example, say you dream my mother's maiden name is "Smith".  If you tell me what you dreamed and ask me if my mother's maiden name is Smith, I could just say yes, whether or not it's true.  Or, if you say, "What's your mother's maiden name?", and I say, "Smith", then you can say, "That's what I dreamed it was!", whether or not you really did.  See what I mean?  The way I described, with you keeping the dream-information to yourself until I mail you a postcard with the real answer will verify to you that I didn't trick you.  And, if you then tell me what you dreamed it was, before you get the post-card, I will know that you are not tricking me.

This will only be verifiable to the two of us, of course.  Nobody outside of us would rationally believe us without better evidence than our say-so.  We can't involve a third person, because any two could conspire against the other.

There's no point in doing it if we aren't going to put this minimal control in it.  Of course, if it's something I can verify for you that you couldn't find out, you could just tell me what you find out.  Say you dream my mother's maiden name is Smith, and I say that you're right--then I could send you a copy of a document verifying that.  So it depends on what information you discover.  The trouble with verifiable info is that you may be able to discover it yourself, unless it's obscure enough.  Say you dream the color of my best friend's hair when I was a kid--I could potentially come up with a picture to show you that you are right, but there wouldn't be anyway for you to research that.  It just depends on what you find out.

We can wait to see what you come up with.  If it's independently verifiable, just tell me, and I'll confirm or deny. If it's not, I'll send you a post card with the info, so you know that I'm not tricking you.

Say if pj sent a message to me, that's how we could do it, since a message is not verifiable, unless it was previously written, but that's too hard to do.

See what I mean?  I'm not getting ahead of anything; this is very simple and basic to show that you actually did receive information and didn't just dream it.

I took some pics last night; I'll finish up and get those to you.  Trying to orient you to the house.

I've got some ideas for what you can look for at my house, but of course if you see me you can ask me whatever comes to mind at the time.  Think of some good questions; tell me ahead of time if you want, or don't, and then see what happens.  We don't have to verify at all, if you trust me, but it would be nice for you to have good evidence.

Whao. I will circle back to this wall of words later. Gotta walk the pooch and hit the gym now. We'll figure it out. But in short, I wanted to try easy things first, even if they prove nothing, to either of us.. Then pick off progressively more challenging and controlled tasks if we get to that point.

chuckle  OK.  I just said, if you get something, unless you know that I can independently verify it, don't tell me what it is.  If I can't independently verify it, I'll send it to you snail-mail before you actually tell me what you found out.  The post mark will let you know that I sent it before you told me.  It will be easy for the two of us to know that it happened then.  We will not have evidence for other people however.

Thought Dream for a few Hours

Gold and guns, guns and gold.  Platinum?  Silver?

New Dog Fragment

I get a new dog.  He runs away as soon as I let him out of the car.  Damn thing.

Unknown House/Wrestling Guys/Cake

I wake up in an unfamiliar bed and room.  Where the hell am I?  A man walks in.  I "recognize" him as a "friend".  I say, "Oh good, I didn't know where I was!"  I remember I am visiting him now.  This is a real big guy.

His BF is there.  He is a little guy.  Another friend comes over, who is also a little guy.  The BF is jealous of this new guy.  They begin to wrestle.  The wrestling is like nothing I've ever seen; they twist each other up in knots, very quickly.  Like how vampires run, but wrestling.  Actually it's the new guy twisting up the BF, into more and more intricate and uncomfortable-looking positions. They are like pretzels.  I get worried about the BF; sometimes I don't see how he can breathe.  But I know they need to do this to work out their differences, so I try not to interfere.

My friend give me a piece of cake.  The cake gets me lucid.  Mmm, cake...it's really good.  It's not chocolate!  I remember saying the only flavor in dreams is chocolate, so of course this is yellow cake with white icing.  It's still really good.

Guy From Grade School

I'm riding in the back seat of a car with a guy with blond hair.  I know we went to grade school together, but I can't remember his name.  We talk about people we used to know.  He sort of remembers my name, but not exactly.

Big Blue Pig

(Can't remember which part is first and which is last.)

1)  I walk into an auditorium.  There is going to be some talks on a subject that I'm really interested in.  Cool, Viggo is here, and the seat next to him is open!  I rush, causally, and grab it.  Unfortunately, a big, loud guy I know sits on the other side of me.  He's OK, but he is not very smart about this subject and I know he'll ask dumb questions, and he's already talking to me and ruining any chances I might have had with Viggo.

2)  Viggo, loud obnoxious guy, and I walk into the yard of a house.  Something scampers under a car.  Viggo says it's baby pigs.  The mother (or father?) pig comes out from behind something.  She or he is frighteningly huge, like a cave-pig, with a big, over-sized head and tusks, and like hackles of fur.  The colors are domestic, however, pinto spots unlike a wild animal.  I look at the pig; it's both beautiful and ugly and scary as hell.  I notice something weird--it's partly blue; its fur is like a blue background with black and white spots.  It would look normal if that part was gray, but it's surprisingly a sky-blue color.  I comment on this to Viggo, and he acknowledges it without surprise.  I guess it's just the breed of pig that it is.

The pig attacks!  We scatter, running in different directions, but all notice that the roof of the house is low enough for us to get on.  Unfortunately, loud obnoxious guy is gored, really bad.  Viggo and I are already on different parts of the roof.  The guy manages to get away, and he pulls himself up onto a roof across from me.  He is mangled, leg muscles falling out, intestines falling out.  He gets his muscles and intestines caught on a ragged part of the gutter.  It's horrible to see, and he is screaming and crying.  I think he's going to die.  I can't do anything to help him because I can't over there.

Late response.

OK. So here is my take on the matter. We go slow, and I try not to force anything. You and I both know that forcing things in lucid dreams usually has bad consequences. So my thought was to try to get to your house and find you, and then simply ask you what you wish to tell me.

Now, you could think about this IRL and have an intention to pass a particular message. But again, knowing how uncooperative dreams can be, I suspect we will have our work cut out.

I find it highly more likely that I might get the dream MB to offer some oddball piece of data that I consider meaningless. But when I offer the info maybe you have a WTF moment? I would try to do this, long in advance of any kind of blind control. There is time for that later. This is all very experimental. We have all the time in the world. If we set our sites too high, we'll loose interest too easily. Those are my points.

Now get cracking with some more pics. I need a location and an updated face!

I'll put some pics in that file.

Lucids All Night (Supps at bedtime method; unfortunately difficult to describe at this point.  Interesting part only.)

I found the big blond version of Alfred and we spent some time together.  That was fairly early in the night.  Lots of stuff in between, then towards morning I found him again.  Annoyingly, he seemed surprised and irritated to see me, and he blew me off.  He said we were just together and I came back too soon, and then he left via a way I couldn't follow.

Hello, stranger Smiley  I'm not industrious enough to read through all 168 pages of stuff I've missed. From the last few pages it looks like you've been on a roll, lately.

Robot Butler!   Cheesy  How's it going?

Yea not too bad; I'm getting lucid consistently one or two nights week (supp-assisted), but still working on a lot of things.  My dreams have continued to evolve over time; I can no longer plan what I want to do (it just doesn't work) but at the same time the realism and thought-level and intensity have increased.  I sort of have my recurring-DC, but he is somewhat fickle, not quite what I imagined.  But it's been interesting.

How about you?  What's new?  Still dreaming?  I hope so.   Smiley

I'm driving a car with some people in it.  We pass disasters, such as a truck turned over in the water, but nobody notices except for me.

Sounds like something from SAW or Final Destination. O_o Was it cartoony or like real gore? In my dreams gore is usually cartoony or non-existent.

Interesting dream though. It was a sky pig! XD

Garage Doors Fragment

I remember that I forgot to shut the garage.  When I open the door into the garage to do so, the big door is closing by itself.  It's like bank vault doors, big and heavy, closing from the side and sliding into each other.  I'm glad the dogs weren't in the way!  They could have been killed.

Nightmare/Lucid

I somehow have lost everything.  I go to ex JN and he takes me in.  (This part doesn't sound horrible but it's already nightmarish.)  We drive to a place he thinks I can get a car.  It's a run-down house with a lot of used cars parked around it.  A big fat guy answers the door and we go in.  There is a lot of small talk, not having to do with cars.  I pet a multitude of dogs and cats.

At some point, the guy is outside the house, shooting out the panes of a big window that is divided into a lot of little squares, shooting them one at a time, and laughing maniacally.  Glass showers down around me.  I think, he's insane!  We have to run away!  So JN and I start running.

I run thru neighborhoods, up and down alleys, in and out of houses.  I can't get away....
(wake up, thinking about it, and realize that if I go back to sleep I'm going to go right back into that bad dream...I do it once or twice and snap back, but then I'm back again...)

I realize I shouldn't be fighting it!  I'm back in the dream!  The last time I had been in I was with a different group of people.  We had finally managed to make it out of the bad guy's sight, so now I think if we just act casual and quit running and screaming, and try to join some other people and blend in, he won't be able to find us.  At first I try to get the people to calm down so we can do that, then I realize it doesn't matter anymore.

I decide to amaze them by flying.  I'm a little behind, so I jump into the air and swoop around over them and land on a roof nearby, yelling, "Look at me!  I can fly!".  They look up for a moment, but are unimpressed and go back to freaking out about the bad guy.  So I say, "OK, I can make the sun come up!", since it's really dark out and I think light will help calm them down.  Not that I care very much about them, but I think it would be cool to make the sun rise.

I point at the horizon and say things like, "Light!  Sun, rise!  Daybreak!", etc.  A faint greenish glow begins, which expands to a sort of fluorescent, neon, swirly glow; kind of like the Northern Lights, but mostly green.  The DC's look at me like it is the worst demonstration of power they have ever seen.  I have to agree--the light is weird and pretty, but if it's a sunrise I was going for, I pretty much failed.
