I doubt there's anyone that couldn't benefit from this. I'm in. By May finals will be over and it'll be the perfect time for me to get back into LDing.

count me in
We don't need to know or prove anything. Just to be, to take a risk and enjoy your life, is all that matters. Say no when you want to say no, and yes when you want to say yes. You have the right to be you.

I'd like to volunteer for the postion of resident NewB... I've only got two mini-lucids to my name so far and really want to get around to having a proper lucid experiance sometime in the not-too-distant future.

I think video (youtube) tutorials would be excellent. Some folks like to hear it from a person rather reading a bunch of text. Sounds silly coming from a message board, I know.

*runs into the thread panting*  Ah!  Did I make it in time to sign up?

*waits for breathing to slow*  Pfew.  I'm excited about this!  Joining in with other dreamers what I need to spur me on.  I'm not very self-motivated, but I really do want to regain my love and curiosity for dreams.
Returning to the basics... again.

Amazing how many of us seem to be in this position; became interested in Lucid dreaming, but allowed other issues to distract us. We all just need that extra push to keep up the commitment and get to that ideal place where you're having multiple LDs per week and remembering multiple dreams per night.

I'm going to kick if off Early May 1st.  I hope everyone is not too disappointed with the content.  Very rough outline; we will be working through topics slowly in this order:

Recall
Journals
Dreamsigns
Reality checks
Basic induction techniques (MILD, DILD)

I'm making the assumption that everyone already knows what a lucid dream is.  This is basic basic stuff and I am afraid many will be bored since we've got a crowd of pretty advanced lucid dreamers here.

Its just a shame we cant have a whole year off from whatever we do, to just concentrate on dreaming! But its fantastic to have forums, such as this, just to keep the mind active and thinking about dreaming as a whole, whilst we all encourage and support each other. Truly one of the best things to come out of the internet, communities such as this.

Sounds like a good plan. You are never too experienced to re-do the basics!

And even though the true benefit will be going through it over the course of the month, whilst sharing info/support with the other members, it will still be a useful guide to anyone who is a beginner, and finds the site in the future.
