Got close to lucid on my work dreams.

Rondo Dream:

Forgot to write down the date in my hand journal, but this dream happened after I stayed up watching playoff basketball.

I am at the Gillette Stadium at some VIP dinner reception.  For some reason instead of being at the restaurant they put tables up on the field.  It is dark, there are no stars.  Also instead of grass on the floor there is like a huge green plastic tarp.  We order burgers (which we never get grrr!!!) and wait.  Rondo (Celtics point guard) comes out and we high five.  I get uber excited.  I talk to the people at my table about Rondo for some time and one of Rondo's posse (who are sitting at a table not to far from ours) goes "you don't know him to say that." Then Rondo comes over our table and hugs one of the girls sitting next to me from behind.  I am surprised and they tell me that it's because they went to high school together..

Work Dreams:
Pt. 1

This one I forgot all the detail leading to the moment of recognizing that I am in fact dreaming.  First clue was that I was wearing clothes that I wore on Thursday, and I realized that today was not Thursday. Hmm... That triggered my suspicion and the final straw was when I was walking down the street aimlessly at night, still in my work clothes and wasn't able to recall what I did not only in past two hours, but what I did 5 minutes ago. "How did I get here?" "I must be dreaming..." I wake up... :(

Pt. 2

Some flight involved in this one.  I might have actually been lucid for all I know. My recall was so poor that I couldn't tell...

We have a bunch of new hires at work from my high school.  Long story short one of them is horny and she decides that its a good idea to get under my table and blow me.  For some reason I don't stop her.  The tables in this dream are very different from RL, so her legs show from under the table. Somebody sees her.  Why couldn't we do it in the bathroom or something?  She gets called in to the office and gets fired.  I'm thinking: I'm next and I go to my boss and tell him what happened in hopes that he will help me.  This is where the dream gets weird and confusing.  I remember recognizing me getting head as a dream and telling my boss its ok.

I remember other problems at work and I remember to get around from building to building I flew.  To fly I jumped and stretched myself out in a superman position and flew. Good stuff

I still count these as lucid dreams, even if it does end instantly. You managed to get lucid and you know you will be able to do it again if you keep trying Smiley

-- Lots of nonsense.  I'm just happy I recalled a huge vivid dream.  These couple of days I noticed myself getting off track.  I do reality checks when ever I see something related to dreaming, but I feel like I need to do them more when I think about football or zombies, because these two themes seem to be re-occurring in my dreams.

Eventually you'll do one in a dream--probably after realizing you are lucid, but maybe before.

I still count these as lucid dreams

Reminds me of American Pie, when the guy touched Nadiya and came instantly.

    Dreams in this post:   D:4 L:0 F:1

    Buying a car

Got my dream car in good condition, but dirty.  By dirty I mean really disgusting.  I came over to my friend's house to celebrate. We drank with him and another DC.  I don't know who he is.  My friend got drunk, puked and went to bed.  So did I. For some reason we are sleeping in the same bed and then I decided that it was not a good idea to sleep instead I should go drive it since I just got the car.  I drove to my brother.  On the way I was adjusting seats back and forth.  The drivers seat could be adjusted so far that it could move all the way to where the passenger seat is.  I bet if I looked at my hands they would be very weird looking.

    Magic monster fragment

Something about fighting a monster on the bridge. It was like a female ogre.  The fighting happened on a bridge.  The reason I remember so little is that it happened same night as the buying a car dream.

    My friend's car

I am at my old apartment back when I used to live with my parents.  Me and my friend R are watching a performance by some dancers on TV, they are pretty hot.  I get hard and apparently it is showing.  R tells me to put it away.  After we are done watching the show he goes home.  He offers for me to drive his car to his house and drive back so I can keep the car.  The day prior to this dream I had to do a lot of logistics with driving cars back and forth in order for all the drunk people to get home safely in one piece. I tell him its a stupid idea, since he can instead go himself.  He gets in the car and it starts rolling.  He applies breaks and the car stops on the two of its front wheels.  It looks very unnatural.  IWL he drives a hyundai and this car is a subaru impreza (car i test drove recently).  He comes out of the back seat and says good thing this car has breaks in the back as well...  Huh?

    Bridge

Its a sunny day.  We are driving somewhere with my girlfriend and she asks me to marry her.  We get on the bridge and it breaks.  We decide to turn around and it breaks behind us.  Now we are stuck on some sort of bridge island. Then the middle flips over and we don't die.

    Lost (escape)

Setting of the dream is an island again and theme is escape.  For those of you who watched the show Lost, I am one of the crash survivors. They are hunting us and trying to eat us.  After they caught us they first try to show us a movie that hypnotizes most of us and makes us obedient.  I don't watch it and I cover my girlfriend's eyes so she doesn't see it too.  After they keep us in individual cages.  I escape and free somebody too.  Around this point during the night I get into semi awake state where I realize that I'm back on my bed and it was a dream.  I don't try to do any lucid stuff, I rather decide that since I'm dreaming I might as well give myself an advantage by having a super power. I choose teleportation.  After I escape the natives are trying to find me, I get a weapon and with my friend Z hide in my old cell.  It is a very good location, since it's on the top floor of the prison, there is no windows and no way to get up unless I see them first.  Around this time the dream ends, but not before I teleport out to get steal some shoes from a shoe store and kebabs to eat.

The Lost dream felt really good to remember and I feel like my brain already knows what to do when I feel like i'm dreaming.

Didn't have time at work to keep my DJ :(

Got a little crazy.  Now things have quieted down.  Bought a sleeping mask from sleepwithremee.com.  I will use it as a starting point and hopefully will write more.

I've been putting things down in my paper DJ, even got lucid once, but nothing earth shattering.  I'll keep everyone posted on how sleeping with remee goes.

Welcome back! Good to see you. I thought you had given up on it. Glad to hear that's not the case. And you got Lucid too.  Smiley
