In that one I felt I was aware I was dreaming without the actual acknowledgement of it. I've always been afraid of that kind of taking over dreams, with real lucidity never kicking in. You aren't really having that problem tho.

No, it just makes me feel I'm close to a full blown Lucid. Had some of that last night too, with a little bit of far jumping and acrobatics. I was thinking about it too though, hmm, maybe it was more fully Lucid, at least for a little bit. I don't even know for sure lol. Some minor WILDing last night. I'm too tired to write anything. No napping today. Right now the plan is to take off to the cabin as soon as I get home tomorrow, so just going to get to sleep real early and get a good nights sleep in. It's supposed to finally be nice out again for a change. Only a high of 81 out there Monday. So if I get Lucid won't be able to post anything until I get back. Tempted to bring my computer along so I don't have to write anything out twice. Not sure I want to risk anything happening to it though.

I hear where you're coming from MB. I've occasionally been concerned that low-level lucidity is my brain's way of skirting round giving me proper lucid time - but it doesn't seem to be the case luckily.

It's counter productive to allow yourselves to believe your minds are against you becoming Lucid.
Well, I really screwed things up for myself this week. I might have to start back at square one. But I got a long night of sleep last night with some vivid dreams. And I was thinking about dreaming several times during the night. So maybe I have not back stepped as far as I think I have. Not going to be around much for anything other than to post dreams for a while. See if I can recover, and hope I can keep stupidity from holding me back. Going to try not to turn my computer on for anything other than whats necessary. Feel like setting the damn thing on fire, actually.

Tuesday-July-17-2012 Lucid Dream # 25 of 2012 Lucidity Trigger Unknown
No recall of becoming Lucid. Just flying. Flying along looking down at the neighborhood. Houses and trees. I fly along until I feel it slip away and I wake.

Planning to take off to the cabin tomorrow so probably won't be back for a couple days.
Friday-August-17-2012 Lucid Dream # 26 of 2012 Confusing Work Situation Recognized. No Reality Check Needed
I'm driving my car on my way to work. The sun has not risen yet, but I can see. I make a right hand turn down a narrow road. There is snow on the ground, it's winter. The road seems kind of icy. Am I going to fast? I'm worried about losing control. The road curves slightly to the right. The car begins to slide sideways. The front end clips a snowbank, but it's not too big a deal. I get under control and continue. The road becomes very unfamiliar. have I taken a wrong turn? I'm going to have to turn around. I look for a good spot to tuurn around. I come to a cul-de-sac. The road has a short but steep slope down into the cul-de-sac. It's almost like driving down into a bowl with houses around it.
I drive down into it and try to turn around and go back up the way I came. It's easier said than done, my car keeps sliding and missing the exit road. I finally get lined up, and try to drive up and out. But now the road is too snowy and slippery, I spin my tired and start sliding back down. What the heck, how do the people that live here get out of here in the winter. I back up farther and try to get a faster run at the hill. This works, but not without a little Flintstones style putting my feet through the floor, and lifting up the car help. I pull the car up and out of the cul-de-sac.
Don't remember the rest of the drive, but I'm not parked in the parking lot at work. I walk across the parking lot and into the building. La de da. I'm doing stuff for a little bit. Then my boss Randy comes in. "How did you get in?" He asks. Trying to remember, do I have a key? No I don't have a key. "I don't know." I say. " The door must have been left unlocked."
I continue trying to do work stuff. More people are showing up now. But everything is confusing for me. Nothing is going right, or working right. It's very frustrating. Finally Randy comes to me and asks me whats going on, and whats wrong with me. "I don't know." I tell him. "I'm all screwed up today. I'm not right in the head. It's all started off bad. First driving to work I get lost. Then I get my car stuck in the snow."
Then as I'm describing my drive into work, I'm somehow aware that I was dreaming when all that was happening. And I say something along those lines to Randy. Not sure the exact wording there. Then without skipping a beat I say to him. "If I was dreaming then, I must be dreaming now. Because I have no memory of waking up since then. "That would also explain why I've been having such a confusing time since I got here." I'm completely certain I'm dreaming now. "This is a dream!" I think it's pretty cool to be at work and telling Randy that this isn't even real. Randy is a pretty serious guy and doesn't seem like the type to have any interest in dreaming at all. But Randy hardly seems to be paying any attention to me anymore. He is busy rushing around doing stuff as he always is. I follow him, calling his name several times trying to get his attention. "Randy! Randy!" He finally turns and looks at me. "This is a dream!" I can feel the dream starting to slip away. Shit, through sheer willpower I'm somehow holding myself in it. But it feels like a losing battle, I'm about to give it up and let myself wake. Just as I let go I hear Randy say something surprising to my "This is a dream." statement. He asks. "So what are you going to do now?" I wake. And my alarm clock starts going off just as I wake so it's just as well.

Survived two more nights alone in the forest.
Sunday-August-19-2012 Lucid Dream # 27 0f 2012 Anxiety Induced Lucidity? No Reality Check Needed.
Demonic Bear
Sleeping in the tent, I have an FA. It's early morning. I climb out of the tent and look out over the hill. Through the trees I see the pond. It's huge, looks more like a lake to me. I wonder why I think of it as a pond. ( It's actually the wrong side of the hill.) I notice the sea of fog. I thought the fog was water at first, making it look more like a large lake. The fog is so thick, it grows, swirling upwards, like thick clouds. The scene is incredibly beautiful. I'm glad I woke up early enough to witness this.
I'm gradually able to make out dark shapes in the fog. It's thinning out, somewhat. It's cows, black cows in the mist. Soon I'm seeing the entire herd trudging along at the bottom of the hill. Whats that? Wolves. I see wolves following the cows. A little scary, but Wait. There are bears too, brown grizzlies. It's like a parade of cows, wolves, and bears.
Just then a particularly large grizzly turns it's head and looks up at me. And without hesitation it charges up the hill right at me. Oh shit! I do the only thing I know to do. I stand my ground and shout at it as loud as I can. The bear stops just a few feet in front of me. It's one scary looking bear. It's like some kind of demonic animated bear. Long wicked looking narrow face, and rows of sharp needle like fangs dripping saliva protrude from a huge open mouth. As this thing stares me down I'm wondering how the heck shouting at this monster is going to bother it any. But it's the only weapon I have. I shout at it. It doesn't move, just glares at me. I shout at it some more. Suddenly, without warning, it turns and bolts down the hill, falling back into line with the parade of animals.
Wow, very surprised, shouting at it worked. I continue to eye the parade as I make my way back around the side of the tent. When suddenly I remember. Oh yeah, this is a dream. I feel sudden relief as I realize thatthe bear had no chance of harming me. But just then a strange man in a hooded black suit comes walking up the hill from the same direction as the bear had come. The man is holding a pitchfork, or trident looking weapon. He has it pointed straight at me as he comes up the hill at me. OK, I'm going to meet this strange new threat. I stand there without fear waiting for him to come to me and do whatever it is he is planning to do. The mysterious man walks up to me and starts poking me in the stomach with that weapon of his. I find it kind of amusing, I wake.

Another night in the forest. Woken out of a Lucid
Monday-August-20-2012 Lucid Dream # 28 of 2012 Lucidity trigger unknown No reality check needed
Cliff Jump
Sleeping in the tent again. There is some stuff going on. I had just done something that I can't remember. I feel as if I sneak back inside an apartment. There is a sense of foreboding. There are lights, headlights. A car pulls up. I'm nervous about them for some reason. Then a voice talking to me. A disembodied voice? I don't know. I don't remember anyone being there, but I clearly hear the voice. " That was pretty cool." The voice explains. "But the dream doesn't count because you were only partially Lucid."
" Partially Lucid, I'll show you partially Lucid. I take off running. I don't remember leaving the building but I'm now running through the woods. I leap from a cliff. falling feet first. falling falling falling. No fear of hitting the ground. I'm thinking great way to force myself into a higher level of Lucidity. And it works. I land feet first on a dirt road and run on Wake. A loud crashing outside my tent wakes me up a little after midnight. "Crash crash crash clomp crash" I recognize the sound of hooves stomping the ground. Phew, just deer lol. They stomp around outside my tent for some time before moving off. Not a surprise, it's a common area for deer. Sucks they had such bad timing. waking me out of a Lucid.

How annoying! Still, at least you had a wee bit of lucid time. They could have been 2 minutes earlier... Great to catch up on your lucids. Always a pleasure to read

Oh and also, nice one getting lucid during the Demonic Bear dream. That was a very cool dream. I've been kind of wishing for a dream like that for ages i.e., with a weird and scary demon-ish animal! Only I wanna be lucid the whole time

Nice work!!! Beautifully smooth transition Thanks. That was a nice moment there. How annoying! Still, at least you had a wee bit of lucid time. They could have been 2 minutes earlier... Very true that. Great to catch up on your lucids. Always a pleasure to read Hopefully there will be more to come soon. Much more. Oh and also, nice one getting lucid during the Demonic Bear dream. That was a very cool dream. Thanks. One thing about sleeping in the tent. When recall is good I often end up having some pretty bizarre dreams. I've been kind of wishing for a dream like that for ages i.e., with a weird and scary demon-ish animal! Only I wanna be lucid the whole time It is pretty scary when you're not Lucid and they come after you. I don't mind if I get scared into Lucidity too though.

Friday-August-31-2012 Lucid dream # 29 of 2012 Spontaneous Lucidity?
Getchyomindright!
Dream happened in the first hour of sleeping. Can't remember what was going on prior to Lucidity, so can't be completely sure if anything triggered it. I remember the moment, and the feeling of Lucidity washing over me. An felt like spontaneous Lucidity. For some reason Pj's phrase was in my head. "Getchyomindright!" And I kept repeating it like a mantra. "getch-yo-mind-right!" It was like I was repeating the phrase to help keep me Lucid, rather than "this is a dream." It sounded pretty powerful. But then I start getting overly stressed about waking up. Pretty sure I caused myself to wake.
Happy with the rest of the nights recall even though didn't get to sleep as early as I was hoping. No more Lucidity though. Unfortunately not enough time, and too tired to record more from last night. No after work nap again.
