Another nap lucid I had an unintentional nap today (fell asleep reading).. BricksLucid-ishI'm with J & R, and we are laying bricks for some reason. It's really sunny, and we were joking about something. I didn't do an RC, I was just.. thinking about why I was here, and I suddenly realized I was dreaming! Best feeling At the same instant, J looks up at me like he knows I'm lucid, and he seems to be really aware of it.. it was so weird, like our minds were connected. The look turns sexual and we both know what is going to happen... but before that happens, the dream slips away.. I'm having heaps of vibrations, and I feel like I'm on a rocking boat. i can feel my body in my bed, but at the same time I'm getting intense HI which is moving really fast. I haven't ever experienced something like that before. I think I'm experiencing sleep paralysis, because my legs feel insanely heavy. I wake up- It's a FA, and I'm laying on a bed in a backyard with lots of trees, it's really nice Bonnie comes in and sits on the bed and asks jokingly if I was 'sleeping with the cats' and I tell her about how I was just lucid. I'm really excited about it, but she just shrugs it off and asks me about something else Our conversation( Bonnie) 'I really want to go on our Ice trip' (me) 'What?' 'You know, to that store! We wanted to go for ages!' 'Oh.. when?' 'Soon. I mean soon. How about Saturday? We could go to Karrinyup' 'I'm pretty busy then, we could go to the city on Sunday though' 'No... Lets just go right now!' (She was being really aggressive for some reason)She leaves, and I go to follow, and then I realize that my three siblings (who don't exist IWL) are crying. One's in a swing and wants to get out, and I try to lift him (he's a toddler, roughly the same age as my actual brother IWL) but I can't. Then, I see the younger one is in a high-chair and also crying. I wake up for real this time. I really should be having more naps

BallNon-lucidI'm getting ready for my school ball, again. I try on the same dress, but this time it looks different when I look in the mirror. Now, I'm at the ball, and it's in some sort of foyer place with a red floor. My friend asks if I want to dance, and we start slow dancing, we are both acting like a couple and end up kissing. For some reason there's nobody around anymore except him and I. He's wearing a red tie. I really wouldn't have ever wanted to do that with my friend Emily's Non-lucidI'm at Emily's house, and there are quite a few other people there. We are in what seems to be her room, and it's really dark, and we are looking in the mirror, except I can't see my reflection really well (another mirror?) and I'm wearing some sort of cape-like thing. We really want to make muffins, and we do.. they are choc chip I don't know anyone at her house, and I want to leave.

Party Non-lucid I'm outside my house, except the beach has moved closer. There's lot's of furniture around, like someone is moving. Some of it is wrapped up. I really need to find a poster of something, and I ask my next door neighbor. He has a look inside this box out the front of his house (I think some of the furniture is his) but doesn't find much, he's being quite cold to me now for some reason. I decide to go inside, and as I'm going in I see M upstairs on this exercise machine, he tells me that although the seat is wrong he can still operate it fine. I find this amusing for some reason. Now I'm inside, and N & R have decided to come over. We are on the computer, and talking to Carla. She says she is sending me an inbox on Myspace about D's party tonight (Myspace?!). So we look at it, and we think it is really cool, and for some reason the guest list has the person's name corresponding with other words that don't make sense. There are all of these messages on there from people coming. (I really need to start RC-ing at words more, thats ridiculous) Now, I go into my room to change for some reason, and when I come out my mother has deleted my web browser, which means that N &R were also 'deleted' from my house (not sure how that works) and I get really angry with my mother, she's being generally quite mean. I'm looking at the spot where the icon disappeared, and then it reappears, but I wake up. (RC?!)

Mangoes fragmentNon-lucidSomething to do with me needing to buy mangoes. ExamNon-LucidIt's the day of my English Literature exam, and I wake up and realize that I have forgotten all of my quotes. I have two hours until the exam, so I decide to go to a store that will put ideas into your head quickly. The procedure takes an hour, so I have to hurry. I leave my house, and catch this bus that stops right outside my house. The bus is really long, and after a while (don't really remember the details of the ride) I'm in the city. Some guy tries to sell me something but I dodge him. Everything is going too slow, my movements are really slow and I'm really starting to get worried. I don't even know where this place is, and I'm going to miss my exam if I don't hurry up. I wake up.

TravellingNon-lucidI'm at school, at this bus stop, with lots of other people from my year. We're waiting for busses to come. H calls me and asks if he can come and use his water bombs on us, and I say yes, and tell him we're at the bus stop. Later I realize he probably went to the main bus stop. Now, for some reason, we need to go to Sweden. We check and see that the busses do go to Sweden. The next bus comes, and I get on with a few other people, but I leave Bronte and Emma behind because the bus is too full. I tell them there will be another one soon. I ask the bus driver how long the bus takes, and he says it takes about 20 minutes. I decide to get off the bus and walk back to Bronte & Emma, because I don't see the point in catching the other bus. I walk back to them, and we're talking. I see a clock in my minds eye and realize I'm going to be late for something.Puppies fragmentNon-lucidI'm playing with puppies. PartyNon-lucidI'm at my house, and there's quite a few people over. I'm talking to D, like we're really good friends, about me being sick recently, because he was away or something. J is also there, and we also appear to be really good friends. It's quite dark, and we're in my kitchen. There's really loud music, but I can't quite remember what the music was. It sounded really good though! I'm in a really great mood, because exams are over. Now, I'm dancing with heaps of people, and it's so dark, but there's this odd flashing light thing too. 'Bliss' by Muse comes on, and it sounds amazing, and E tells me it's a new version. It's so good!

Figures you'd find a way to save the situation, only to have it deteriorate again! That kind of dream can't be salvaged. Ughhh I know. It's a train wreck from the start! Ah, exams and mothers, the only ones who refuse to change even in dreams!
Hahahahaha, you're totally right. They also make too many appearances in my dreams for my liking PartyNon-lucidI'm at my house, and with Bronte and a few other people I think. It's Sunday night, and I have an exam tomorrow, but there is a party on tonight and I'm discussing with my friends whether we should go or not. My friends all really want to go, but I say I can't because I don't want to fail my exams. Josie says she's going, I tell her that she has a drama exam too tomorrow, but she tells me that she has a special pass to get out of sitting the exam. Gardening LucidI'm in this nice garden, which is massive. There's a small waterfall there, as well. I'm not sure how but I realize I'm dreaming. I think it had something to do with me questioning as to why the waterfall was there. I walk up to a giant house, and see a girl about my age out the front, who I don't recognize. She sees me and walks over, we have a conversation:(her) 'Who are you?' (me) 'No, who are you?' 'I'm telling you that you shouldn't be here.' 'Why?' 'Because, you're disrupting me.' 'From what?' 'My gardening!'I think I was pissing her off massively by this point, which made me laugh for some reason. I tell her that 'This is a dream', and she looks at me angrily and my dream becomes really unstable. I wake up after a while Stupid disruptive DC I have realized, that I remember conversations in dreams quite well.

Party
Its interesting, when i stopped drinking for exams a couple of weeks back, almost every dream with out exception involved me drinking. I noticed you seem to have been having heeps of dreams lately about parties, or are you still going out on weekends? (her) 'Who are you?' (me) 'No, who are you?' 'I'm telling you that you shouldn't be here.' 'Why?' 'Because, you're disrupting me.' 'From what?' 'My gardening!'I think I was pissing her off massively by this point, which made me laugh for some reason. I tell her that 'This is a dream', and she looks at me angrily and my dream becomes really unstable. I wake up after a while Stupid disruptive DC I have realized, that I remember conversations in dreams quite well. What i would do to be able to remember conversations! haha looking back on angry DC's they're kinda funny, they're so easy to piss off. I've decided to try and stop telling DC's its a dream unless they seem peaceful.

Yeah, I noticed that you had lots of drunk dreams No, I've stopped drinking for exams too, don't you find it funny that your SC likes to remind you of what you're missing out on, but on the plus side it's been heaps easier for me to become lucid lately But that in itself is quite distracting for me! What i would do to be able to remember conversations! haha looking back on angry DC's they're kinda funny, they're so easy to piss off. Yeah, for some reason they stick in my mind better than other aspects of the dream which can be quite annoying at times I know, they are quite hilarious, but for some reason I often have the urge just to annoy them for the sake of it, probably not a good idea..

I find party dreams fun. I like to think of it as making up for the lack of in RL. Thats interesting, i find drinking helps me get lucid, might be something to do with rebound, but i seem to be able to WILD really easy when i'm drifting in and out of sleep in the morning. Yeah, for some reason they stick in my mind better than other aspects of the dream which can be quite annoying at times
I envy you, its very difficult when i'm trying to researching DC's and i can't remember conversations accurately. How is it annoying?

yeah, I'd like to be lucid in them more though! It helps my lucidity too, I think, because of the drifting in and out of sleep.. I'm not entirely sure why I have been lucid more lately or if it has anything to do with not drinking.. I'm claiming it on the naps, I guess? I envy you, its very difficult when i'm trying to researching DC's and i can't remember conversations accurately. How is it annoying?
But you remember your dreams in such detail! It's annoying because when I try to remember a dream, the conversation sticks in my mind almost perfectly and that is all I can focus on.. I find it difficult to remember setting etc after! I've been researching different learning types, and because I'm an auditory learner (I think?) I remember things I have heard/said easier. It's interesting Bah silly DC disrupting your dream! Good point though, you were lucid from the start, was it a WILD?
I know! Yeah, I'm not sure... I guess it had to be? Not that I remember WILDing at all. It seems to happen to me occasionally... I'm not entirely sure how to explain it? I just.. already know I'm dreaming

Ah, in which case, it must be a natural DILD! They come with extra lucidity! And sometimes get an annoying DC package in there <.<

That makes sense Much more sense than my WILD theory haha FA- MotherNon-lucidI 'wake up' in my bed, because my mother is yelling at me. She asks me what I have done with some sort of object I can't remember, (it reminded me of tissues for some reason?) and I tell her it's next to my bed. She comes in and grabs it, and tells me that I shouldn't leave whatever it was in my room.FA- Seeing through my eyelidsNon-lucidI hadn't been asleep for that long, when I 'woke up' and it was like I could see through my eyelids. I was looking at my room, and when I shut my eyes.. my room was still sort of there. I got excited and did a RC, and it failed/ I wasn't paying enough attention to it... I felt really tired so I went back to sleep. Looking back on it, I was definitely dreaming... grrrrrrHarry Potter LucidI'm at Hogwarts, in the Potions dungeons, I'm in my own body and there are lots of people I don't know around me. There is something written on the blackboard, it had something to do with colours, and I did a RC off it and became lucid I'm really amazed that I'm having a Harry Potter related lucid! I exit the room, and go up some stairs to a corridor. It's the same as I envision it to be from the books. I really want a wand and contemplate ways to attain one. I try to see if one will be in my pockets, but I have none I imagine that it's going to be inside my jacket, and it is Now, I try to cast a spell. I yell 'reducto' and wave the wand, and a hole blasts in the wall. Snape comes up to me and is angry:(him) 'What are you doing? No magic in the corridors is allowed!' (me) 'It was an accident?' 'What house are you in?' 'Gryffindor?' 'Ten points from Gryffindor'He walks away, and I start laughing because what just happened was so odd. Lots of people start crowding the hall, and I follow them outside, and it's really sunny. I'm pretty sure I wake up at this point. ..I was reading Harry Potter before bed, haha
