I was wondering if we couldn't get something like this.  It would definitely help out with longer guides and such.

You have the access to give it a go, if you feel so inclined.  If you do, pay attention to the dependencies and the results of the test install - if everything doesn't go well, those broken bits need to be handled manually.

Otherwise, if mu doesn't give it a go first, I'll try to remember to try it out tomorrow.

:hrm:  That link points to the wrong mod.  I assume you mean this: http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=49

The mod's a bit old, and the version had to be changed in the install XML.  However the test to install still failed, which means it's looking for code different than what's there.

I'll see what tonight; or else, it shouldn't be much trouble to make this mod myself.

The forum already has them!  The mod was for an old version, as I said.  No longer needed.

Do [anchor=#a1b2]Stuff[/anchor] to create the anchor.  (The # is optional.)  It is transformed into <span id=#post_a1b2>Stuff</span> is the resulting html.

You can link to it by using the pages' url and adding #post_a1b2 at the end.  Or for a link from the same page, use iurl.  [iurl=#a1b2]foobar[/iurl]

iurl?

I'll look into it.  I thought before when I checked it didn't support it.  Of course, that was a year or two ago...

I just tried to give a demonstration, but deleted it.  It is confusing.

I am an anchor.

I hopefully link to that anchor.

Perhaps I am an external link to that anchor.
