@ SS - Edwards is an ex US representative who was running for president not long ago. Oh, and he was banging some woman and had a child with her, while his wife was dying of cancer. Oh ... and he was using tax payer money to cover it up. Kinda news worthy in the US for what that is worth.
My question is that:
1. If you're assuming the
DC to be an independent entity, there's a great chance that he/she would not find that news-worthy
2. If you're assuming the
DC as a future/past self of yours, then there's also a good chance that
a) either the news doesn't make sense in the future (Edwards may no longer exist, another different Edwards may rise in the scene, etc.)
b) or the news doesn't make sense in the past, because those events could have not generated there (Edwards was a just regular guy, or even not-born yet)4
That would make a prediction likely to be misinterpreted or disregarded.
A good way to avoid that would be using events that have relevance to more people (if 1.) or events whose interpretation is unlikely to change with the course of time (if 2.). Which brings another issue... both of these options are more likely to repeat themselves than more specific events.
I may have misinterpreted your thread though

. If that's the case, just ignore the above.
