Last night I was lucid, but I didn't have much success...
    Oh?  How so?

I walk around outside, sometimes it feels I walk right up off the ground.  The air is sweet and warm, flowing, carrying the world.  Time stands nearly still; the world is surreal and far away, so I never question it.

Yeah, possession is a lot like having multiple personalities since you have your own and the person/people your possessing's too.
Well, there's another kind when I feel more like "we," but it's not always clear who "we" are.  It's sort of a spread out, connected, indistinctness from the dream itself.

Can you remember what the house was like?
It was a good, high-quality strange house, with lots of interesting strange house things in it.  Nothing more specific.  sad1

No, actually.  It was more of a passing detail that was all but forgotten minutes later.

    Random strange houses

I'm in a strange house with StarSeeker.  (Again.  Both have been occurring quite commonly lately.  huhwhat)

The room is in the dreary interior of the house, yet windows fill the walls and glow, suns of many worlds behind them.  We discuss the images in a large glass tank--perhaps fish tank, perhaps computer screen.  The swirling, crawling things inside seem to be assimilating, growing into a monster.

A wolf hurls itself in through a deep-colored window.  SS turns with a start, but the wolf can't be seen; there's a glassy black, endless nothing in the shape of a wolf that in an instant has joined the strange corner-spaces in the shadows.

I shrug a bit, and offer to show SS the museum downstairs, which is actually a laboratory.  Down here it is vast, damp, and filled with unaccountable sunlight.  In the center stands another, more standard glass tank--a museum display case.  Its contents are the experiment of a self-contained rainforest, and I observe a gathering swarm of the tiniest black, buzzing specs.

    ---

For some reason, I'm in Texas.  At AspiR's house.  WTF  (I think I had no choice, because I ran out of gas or something.)  Some strange evil shaman have been turning into huge evil prehistoric deer-like mammals, and there is a lot of people gathered to determine how to be rid of them.

    ---

I'm a kid; I stomp into a friend's house in the middle of day and announce myself.  I further stomp into and across the backyard, and to the edge of that, and to a river.  I stomp into the river, and announce myself, and right on down to the bottom, and further, into a cave.

I'm not sure if you realize how much AspiR and I can't stand each other.  Texas isn't big enough for the two of us, end of story.  derby

    10-15-11

    Unusual house

Rows and rows of pale white flowers, earth, and dust spiral down from my dimension.  I see the moon in the dirty window I enter; the night looks darker in its reflection, as if the inside is a murky liquid.  I'm sucked in.

This attic room's floor is an ocean of heavy rotted boards, warping, knotting.  The light jumps in through the window and the cracks and plays many games here, and the air is pure.  But a great weight makes me crawl like a crab across the floor, and somewhere halfway, crash through it.

I'm falling, slowly, into a long white hall.  The bottom is somewhere below an ocean of heads.  They all look down or straight ahead, because the ceiling is lit by a million candles.

They look in the direction of a sunken stone pit.  It looks like a wedding.  The bride is pale and ghost-like.  The groom is not.  I crash into his head, and his head falls off the shoulders, as if he was a statue.  The head rolls to a corner.  There is a silent gasp from each guest, but there are so many that the sound rolls the head further, into the darkness.  All is still.

I take a candle and examine it.  There seems to be something wrong with it, and it's cracking open.  I tap it several times, then give it a good whack.

I'm falling again through the ceiling, and again into the groom's head.  When it falls off, it is revealed to be the head of an octopus.  The collective gasp of the audience blows it into the corner.  I walk over to it.

I tap it, and break it open.  Inside is a little face, of what I do not know.  It is not entirely a physical face, for it never stops changing.  But it is always a face that knows nothing, an innocent, helpless face.  It seems to be the only thing truly alive here.

    ---

I am climbing around the outside of a recurring strange house, doing something to it.  A famous author arrives and he sits in his car watching me from the road.  After a few minutes tying some cables and sheets I go talk to him.

He claims to be enlightened, and he describes how he now views the world through the eyes of an alien from the future.  His daughter is here.  While we are discussing matters, his daughter takes out a book to read, an sits on my hand.  I try to keep a straight face and he does not seem to notice.

    Weird house

My father and I pull up to an abandoned old building on some business.  As we step out of the car, I bump into two men pushing an elderly woman on a wheelchair.  One of them becomes furious and starts screaming about how I ought to be careful when bodies are being carried around.  At this moment I can't tell whether they push a living woman on a wheelchair, or a dead one in a gurney.

With things still indefinite we enter the building, which now appears to be a large department store.  We walk directly upstairs, where it is an apartment building.  We search for the husband of the woman we saw outside, to inform him of her condition.  We fear he may already be dead.  We find his room and discover a cracked dressing mirror; we know he has gone into it.  We stare with vague sadness into the cold, rotting plaster halls repeated endlessly in the cracks.

There seems to be nothing here.  I keep trying to create something.  I don't know what it is, and I don't know what anything is, but it's the same thing over and over.  Who am I?  What am I?

Don't worry, eventually populations from elsewhere will start coming in, when they have nowhere else to go.

I don't see the world becoming a lonely place.  (At least in that sense.)

    Strange untitled dream

A girl with red hair, freckles, and gray-green eyes is in two worlds at once.  She walks into and out of reality, and is always in fragments.

I'm a stranger that walks into town one day.  The town is broken and unreal.  Shadow people torment the town, particularly the girl.  I love her, so I protect her and get into a lot of fights, like a big hero.

The shadow people serve an old man.  The man threatens me, and then leaves for the supermarket, after declaring this intention to me.  I follow.  It is a strange supermarket, with perhaps hundreds of pharmacies.  At each one the man waits behind the counter and talks on a phone.

I think about moving the girl (who now has two children as well) to the house I grew up in.  I will bug the phone in my old house, and wait for the man to call.  (It seemed like a good plan at the time.)

I consider this plan as I get into more fist fights with shadow people.  Finally I decide just to speak to the man.  There's this extremely important pipe that brings life to the town.  I would have to turn into some kind a magical pipe-fixing being to tighten this pipe, because it's in two worlds at once.  But the old man promises to leave the girl be if I do.

The last thing I see is a very odd close up of the girl's face, which seems to be made of glowing clay.  There's a light in her eyes like a light at the end of a million mile long train tunnel, and that odd sort of sound.

    Strange untitled fragment

I become a member of a strange group.  Possibly alien abductees.  Great, otherworldly black shapes hover over each of us and follow as shadows.  We sit around a fire, and consider how to burn the shadows.
