You're welcome for the "no recall," Kar.  :chuckle:

I wondered if you'd comment on that. XD

I'm thanking you for consistently journaling even if you can't remember your dreams, as I find it admirable. :d

Warrior

I'm a warrior in Africa.  I know I'm not really a warrior in Africa.  I'm not sure if I'm not really, though.

I took some heavy drugs not long ago that seem to have made me more of a warrior in Africa.

I do think about what things used to be like before this, and how life had seemed to be without meaning.  Now there is no more "guh," as they call it here.  Just this war, and the strange effects of this drug.

I say to something outside of myself, "wouldn't you feel real, if you were them," indicating some warriors who are standing in tall, leafy grass.

---

I gaze happily at an overgrown forest lawn.

Lol

My sister brings a movie to me that is about Halloween.  (I didn't get to the part where I watched it.)

---

In an alternate reality (a lucid within a lucid, as it were) I fight a tiger with my bare hands.  I am on the point of killing the tiger (for it would have pleased it greatly to kill me) but my hand is stayed by sudden compassion.  In this moment, through some transmission of the eyes, we become as one mind.

I ride the tiger (no, I have not been listening to Dio) through rocks, strange huts and beaches, and sunsets, to the edge of a great jungle.  There between stone gates sits a stone tiger.  It moves not an inch, but has dead jewels for eyes; I know it will trap me forever.  I am frozen in terror.

As if it were a spec in its eye, my living tiger cracks it effortlessly into dust.  I fall asleep on this spot as the tiger wanders off into the jungle, its home.  I feel like all was lost, and all was gained.

---

A man wearing goggles has tied up a woman, and is about to place her into a stone oven.  He looks desperately to the sky, as if waiting for a word.  There is constant quiet lightning, making it seem like a strange day.  I can't see walls, though it seems there must be a room.

I'm not here, so there's nothing I can do to help her.  I can't see either of their faces.

I liked your dream "Ride the Tiger".  Or should I say, the one that should have been called "Ride the Tiger".   :?
:sad1:  I'm sorry I didn't call it "Ride the Tiger," Moonbeam.  I'll try to have another dream it would make a good title for.  And if I can't, well, I'll name one that anyway.  :)

Strange group

I'm in a discussion forum with various religious and spiritual leaders.  The purpose of the forum is to be a place for them to release their "dark" sides and speak with hatred and disgust and so forth.

I don't remember much of what occurred, but I remember making the observation that, although this is supposed to be a place where they need not put on an "act," everyone seems to be trying just as hard to be "free" here as they do to be "true" elsewhere.

Strange cloak

A superman-like being's father is killed, his bits vanished into another universe.  All that's left of him is his cloak.

The superman buries the cloak, crying, shoveling dirt as slow as can still be called shoveling.

When he is almost done, when there's but one more handful to push over, the cloak moves from something underneath.  It's probably only worms.

Strange. . .

I'm painting a very large truck completely green, inside and out, with two gentlemen, one of them named Albert, the other an Englishman.  "Stranger in a Strange Land" plays on the radio:

"How many days has it been
Since I was born
How many days until I die
Do I know any ways
That I can make you laugh
Or do I only know how to make you cry"

Fragments, four of them

Two Irishwomen endeavour to possess me as I'm falling asleep, and it comes damned close to being a nightmare (which I so very rarely get.)  It's wonderful; such mind-swirling chaos.  I win, seemingly.

---

I drive for some time, seeing lovely fall scenes of daily life entirely through my rear view mirror.  It's especially dreamlike.

---

I relive part of my childhood, and sleep in a damp, cold basement with my friend and his sisters, and feed many horses early in the damp, cold morning.

---

A house occurred, somehow.  Probably strangely.
