StarMist - I like that too, Sara.

Which theme, Adam?  That should just be a stylesheet tweak, which you have direct access to through your admin interface.

I changed it to StarMist and am installing it under that name.  It looks like MortalMist right now, of course.

Ok.  Well, there were two things going on there.  In order to have News on at all in the old FerryTema theme, I had to set the News Fader to ON.  That is what was bold and ugly... and it should be off for everybody now.  The news should be showing up in a nice, subtle way in a bar up there somewhere.

If this is not the case for you, we need to look into it further.

News seems back to normal now in a nice little box under my picture :)

Right.  The other thing you were seeing is something called a News Flasher.  In FerryTema, that was the only way to see the news.

Sara - I just dumped the StarLight images in the default folder for StarMist - easier for you to access them that way, and it doesn't seem to matter much yet.

**EDIT**

Oops - got carried away and created the whole theme for you.  Feel free to modify as you see fit though!

StarMist is now relatively complete and updated both here and at ipsoscope.com.  I also located the global copyright notice and got our Mortal Mist Community copyright updated there - for future reference, it is in the file ~/Themes/default/lauguages/index.english.php

Everything is backed up... we should be in perfect shape for moving forward.

I would still like to create one more theme and may do it later in the week or soon, unless somebody else wants to have at it - Seeker requested something using greens and/or earth tones - something more relaxing, brighter and natural feeling than any of the choices we have right now.

Hahahah, I just had a big RC moment...

My layout was suddenly all nice and straight, like it should be. And I was like 'huh, I haven't even done a thing :S

I'll fix the colors of the page numbers and then it's done deal :)
It's already pretty perfect as I see it now, maybe some slight changes in the future, when I stumble upon weird things, but I don't expect that to happen.

Just a reminder to all you theme modders.  The only changes you should be making to themes are in style.css and any graphic images you wish to modify.  All of the remaining structure of the theme should be left untouched in order for them to all be universally compliant.  If there are structural changes that people would like to make in the future, these changes can be programmed into a mod package, applied to the default theme, and the changes will propagate out to all of the other custom themes.
