Great dreams!  Cool how you really tripped and got visuals from the dream-drug.  That was funny how you decided that the old lady yelling at you was your pineal gland.   :chuckle:

I think when I have recorded dreams in an FA, it helps me remember it when I wake up.

Haha yeah that is cool, it's weird how it was completely different to how it should have been though, although I guess that is the case for many things in the dream world. Lol, yeah I still don't quite understand that, I think the idea came from greg lousy somehow, he talks about the pineal gland sometimes.

Yeah I agree, I think you are right it definitely can't hurt (although I would prefer to wake up straight away so I can journal it.

As a side note, whenever I have a big lucid dream like this I never know if I should wake myself so I can journal it all, or try and enter a new dream so I can have more fun experiences. I guess once I can improve my lucidity rate a little bit I'll go for the second option.

I get back to the old lady and try to talk to her, but I don't remember what we spoke about.

That's a shame, seems like it would be an interesting conversation :chuckle:
and I spend the time writing down things on my hand which will help me remember the previous LD, which was a bit stupid really as I was lucid so I knew it wouldn't be there when I woke up lol.

I usually do something like this, though I don't bother writing it (generally) I repeat a list of the "highlights" of the dream so I don't forget them. It's made my memory infinitely better :)

10th December 2013

Crazy night of dreaming. I had lots more sleep than usual so I attempted a lot of DEILDs, and I seemed to be semi-lucid with a tiny bit of control in some of them, but weirdly I didn't feel lucid. Anyway here is my last dream which is the only one I could remember when I finally woke up:

I am applying to work for my old company again, but they have a new training procedure which means I have to go through a school academy thing. First they sit us all at desks and introduce us to each other, then we are given a gardening challenge. We have to plant some seeds, and then re-pot some plants, which I manage to do quite quickly. After we finish everyone is on their laptops so I decide to go around talking to people, and I wind up some people by typing stuff on their computers or turning them off, but everyone takes this as a joke quite well.

Afterwards I leave the academy thing and have a 1-on-1 programming skills challenge with someone at the company. For this challenge me and the person have to work together to build a circuit out of lego blocks, which is the story-line for a game, and then we have to make a logical gate which only allows several characters through. At this point I realise that the company has changed quite a bit since I left, but this challenge seems really cool and I'm looking forward to seeing what else they are doing.

If only real work was like this :) I wouldn't half mind it ! I do hate it when you know you've dreamt through several things and can't remember much at all. I've really got to work on my dream recall now :)

I'd take that crazy interaction, whatever it was, over a simple wall walk any day!  (any night rather)

12th December

I am in some sort of convention that is being held next to a football ground, and there a lot of tents set up with different groups and activities inside. There is one for MM which I spend most of my time in, me and another man are helping to run it and teach people how to lucid dream (I don't think I need to point out the irony here).

There is also another tent I'm helping run so I am constantly jumping between the two. In the other tent there are a lot of red and black squares on the floor, and the idea is you lie down on the black squares and it bends in a funny way which hits you in the back, possibly to give you better posture or a massage or something? I point out that only one of the black squares is working and I want more people to try it, so I investigate one of the other black squares. I notice there is a little switch next to it, kind of like an old fashioned light switch. I flick it and suddenly it starts working again, so I lie on it for a bit. The other guy running the tent comes over and asks me how I did it, so I show him the light switch and he goes off looking to see if there are any more for the other black squares.

13th December 2013

Had a dream where I am in the pub, and my friends are playing pool against some random guys. One of the guys is really crazy, and he keeps deliberately spilling drinks on the pool table, throwing glasses around. Then he ate a pool ball, and then lay face down on the table with his head in the end pocket (maybe he spat the ball out in there?)

---

Another dream where I am doing some paired programming with my old mentor from my work placement. He has written some really strange code which I don't recognise, but for some reason at the time I seemed to understand it perfectly.

First night back in my parents' house for Christmas. Great night for dreams, terrible night for recall. I had one lucid I can't remember before WBTB, then these two dreams after WBTB:

15th December 2013

Fragment: I had a dream where I was working at my old company again, and they were handing out pizza whilst we worked. I find it remarkable how tasty the pizza is and wonder if it was home made or delivered.

---

I am playing chess with someone when they start doing some really weird moves. I do a RC and become lucid. I remember my challenges were to walk up a wall or talk to an animal, so I walk around to try and do one of these, but I can't remember what happened in the rest of the dream.

16th December 2013

I am in a dream where I am with a group of people working on an assignment we need to do by a certain time. I think you were supposed to work on your own but the people I am with are not playing fairly, and I am an inside man who is going to get them in trouble. We are in the top floor of an attic and I throw my bag down into the beer garden, as it seems everyone else is doing this too. We sit and discuss things for a long time, and eventually I go back to my room to sleep (which is on a cruise ship). This cycle kind of repeats until the assignment is over, at which case I go to try and find my bag to hand mine in. However there are so many bags in the beer garden I can't find it. I eventually find it on top of a wardrobe, but then I notice that I'm in my bedroom, and then I FA.

---

FA: playing with a samurai sword and katana in my bedroom. Getting worried I might hurt someone with them so I put it back and go back to sleep

---

I am slipping in and out of sleep until I eventually feel that I have woken up. I do an RC and I can only just breathe through my nose, so I decide to check by inspecting the environment. I find LaBerge's book exploring the world of lucid dreaming on my bedroom floor, a book which I only own on my kindle. The letters are moving around in a funny way and I feel light and floaty. I am dreaming. I fly towards the window and straight through it seamlessly, as if there was no glass there. I look around and see that it has snowed in some areas, but it is not snowing now. This will be the perfect time to practice the "Make it snow" and "Control ice with your mind" badges.

I fly over to a patch of slushy ice, and start playing with it with my hands. I then try and will it to start snowing. I have all but given up when I hear a man shouting me. He is standing next to a bush with a load of ice on it. As I am walking over I notice it has started snowing but I just didn't notice, so I was successful in my challenge. I then get to the man, and try and force the ice to fall on him without touching it. I make all sorts of weird hand gestures, and eventually I sort of bring my fist to the ground as if I'm punching the ground and sending a vibration, although the bush was too far away so it was still with the power of my mind. This works and a load of snow and ice fall on the man's head. I giggle and run away to find something else to do.

I find a load of people playing American football. I have played ultimate frisbee before and for some reason I decide this is not too different. I start playing but I'm not very good and my team is starting to get angry at me. At this point I believe I lose lucidity
. I then decide I will play the position of winger (whatever that is called in American Football) and I run to receive a pass. The QB passes to me and I try to catch it but I drop it. I feel really bad about it. On the next play there is a fumble and everyone grabs for it. One of our players complains that the other guy has 3 hands on the ball. I am trying to figure out how that can be possible when I wake up.

This is Anna Emily....I met somebody named bluebird in a dream recently...please meet me there again ASAP...we have unfinished business...ignore the name on this post...I am merely using this mortal to find you....

Omg... Please tell me this is not a joke. I will put my other challenges on hold and attempt to meet you (her) there every night. If I can't get to that place again I will attempt to meet you elsewhere. Please stay in touch if you have any shared dreams.

:thatso: dammit Moonbeam. I guess it should have been obvious, I thought for some reason someone had sent you a message because they didn't want to come forward about it themself. You can mess with me in chess and waking life, but messing with my dreams is one step too far :'(

It's ok though I forgive you :)
