I'm sorry Tom is haunting your dreams.  All of them, I mean.  :shakehead:

Don't worry, dreams don't predict the future.  Otherwise all kinds of crazy stuff would have happened by now.

Well the first time it was everyone who was called Tom, so that was no big deal :P but this time the evil ghost of "Tom" managed to scare me. Either my SC is very uncreative with names or there is someone called Tom out to get me  :?

Failure to get back to sleep after a WBTB leaves me with no recall again. I'm suffering from terrible insomnia at the moment, it takes me around 45m-1hr to get to sleep, and WBTB's are not going well for me. I'm just not getting tired...Even when I have a busy day that includes swimming I still find myself not sleepy at 11pm. Not sure what to do, hopefully it'll pass. Any advice is appreciated

Doing a WBTB as we speak. Hope i'm luckier than you.  Recommend I do a WILD when its time to go to sleep or just pass out? How much time?

Get comfortable and focus on falling asleep, but try and keep your brain awake. If you see HI and start to feel like you might transition then go for a WILD, but don't keep yourself awake over it. Don't stay up more than 30 mins at WBTB I would recommend. Good luck, even if you can't WILD don't worry as a WBTB will greatly increase your chances to get lucid :)

Just had a quick nap (10 mins at most):

I wake up and see my friends Jack and Jamie. Jack is talking about something, but I'm not really listening. I say hi to Jamie, as he is the boyfriend of a girl I used to live with so we rarely see each other. He says "Oh hi you alright, was wondering when you'd say hello". Wait a minute...why is Jamie here? I get up and say to Jack "but where is Jim?" (what's with all these J's). Jim is another friend IWL, I think Jack was talking about him before I got lucid. I try to imagine Jamie turning into Jim, he gets taller but his face doesn't change. The dream goes unstable and I start to feel my real body breathing. I wake

23rd March 2012

Much to Moonbeam's envy, I was dreaming that I was teaching a celebrity (not sure if they are real) to Lucid Dream, as well as my best friend and my sister. Due to the nature of this dream, I was lucid pretty much the entire time without effort ;) It's worth noting that I wouldn't consider myself fully lucid on the spectrum, but I was definitely aware it was a dream, and did some things that I can only do in dreams, so it still counts. This dream seemed to last a long long time, several days in Dream Time and I would guess at least an hour IRL (but that could be wrong).

The four of us enter the "dream" and I am teaching them how to "play". We each conjure a house, and we can only get into each others houses by falling asleep and entering them in a dream. My house got off to a great start, and I had lot's of groceries in my back garden. The idea was to try and collect these groceries, but I was enchanting penguins to do it for me. I made a point about this to the celebrity, teaching him that there is always an easy way in a Lucid Dream.

After a while it is time to spend the groceries (I guess they are currency) and I build some rollercoasters. I can only distinctly remember one, it had a corkscrew at the end and one car was waiting at the end of the corkscrew for another car to nudge it free. Then there was a loop the loop before they returned to the station. It was bright yellow. My sister flew over to come and look at the rollercoaster, we reminisced on how we went to theme parks as kids, and how the ride called "Corkscrew" in Alton Towers is no longer running :sad1: I took a brief look at her rollercoaster, but it wasn't very impressive. I'm not even sure if it worked. It was red.

At some point my Dad slipped into the dream, and I was explaining to him why we used groceries as currency. It was something to do with penguins liking groceries and they are easy to sell when I get rid of them. He didn't seem impressed, until I cashed out all my stock and had millions.

Then the dream changed slightly, and the 4 of us are back together and not doing much. It is time to teach them about moving fast and flying and stuff. I am apparently sonic the hedgehog, and there are coins scattered all over the place that would be impossible to reach IWL. I get most of them with ease, it just involves a lot of super fast sprinting, however there is one that is very high up a completely vertical wall. I don't know about this man. I haven't climbed up a wall before, but I think to myself "Well, as long as I believe I can do it then I can." Unfortunately, I had a bit of self doubt, and just as I turned horizontally I felt myself drop to the floor.

My best friend, M, started laughing at me at this point. He said something like "Oh you think you're the Queen Bee of Lucid Dreaming but you can't even walk up a wall. Hahahaha" I tell him to shut up and believe I conjure him out of the dream, so that was payback :P Although there was much more in the dream, I don't remember anything else until I am done training the celebrity.
I am then talking to him on some sort of chat room and he is thanking me for everything I did for him. However, while I'm in this chat room I see someone mention Silver, the name of someone I used to talk to on IRC way back when. I question them if they know her, and apparently she is married to her. I ask this girl to say hi from me and she says she will. I wake.

Once again I'd like to stress that I wasn't fully lucid in this dream, but particularly in the Dream-within-Dream I was most definitely more lucid there. Back to bed now, maybe more results later! :)
