My own dream goal may or may not be possible. It's to be every character in a lucid dream all at once, while also being the director of the dream, controlling both what happens and the dreamscape itself. I think it might be possible because of experience both within dreams and outside them. I'm certain that the subconscious is not a single mind mirroring the conscious, but hundreds of minds that are always active observing, thinking and communicating with the conscious self. I often experience hypnagogic images as a mass from which I choose one, the same from dreams. I think I'm entering one of the dreams of these subconscious selves when one picks a dream.
Against my goal is the fact that in dreams I've only ever been able to mind meld with a character who was obviously my dobbelganger, whether human or animal. I believe if my goal is possible at all, that I'm going to have to learn to command the dream mass before entering a dream. If anyone has already done this any pointers would be appreciated.
