Night 26
5:40 - 8:25, slept deeply without recalled dreams.
Day 26
8:30 - a few sour creme & cheddar potato chips with water
8:35 - 9:30, napped. Had a long and elaborate dream which began with a "once upon a time" narration, with the visible action of the dream following the narration. It went something like, Once upon a time, there was a farmer who lived at the edge of a large forest, and there was a merchant who lived at the other end. They had a disagreement, and it ripped a large hole in the fabric of reality, deep in the woods at the crossroads where they once had met as friends to exchange goods for produce. Now, a little village stands around the farmer's homestead, and the merchant is in his Mercantile Shoppe, plotting a takeover. Back in the village, the rift is kept a secret to all but a few, and every day somebody has to go to the rift and plug it with their finger, or it will destroy them all.
The next scene, we were looking from the perspective of a red-haired woman who was called Professor. She was having an hand-to-hand combat fight with Lana Parilla. [At this point, keep in mind that we have only seen her twice at all. We do not watch television or follow Once Upon A Time.] The fight was in a gymnasium full of gymnastics and American football equipment, like tackling pads and gymnastics horses and balance beams.
In the next room, there was a South Park-ified 2-dimensional version of Disapproving Asian Father, scolding a small child for failing to get into MENSA. The child had the tail of a monkey.
In the next scene, a little woman who called herself Snow White was walking through the woods toward the rift, to take her shift blocking the hole with her finger.
We ended up next in Snow White's perspective. She walked through the woods to the Mercantile. The building had a teller window, and there was a skeletal corpse at the window. A sign hung from his neck saying, "honour system", and he had a basket in front of him. Snow White said, "strawberry preserves, please!" and the skeleton pivoted at the waist, grabbed a jam jar off the shelf behind him, and put it into the basket. Snow White took the jar and dropped money into the basket. Snow White walked away after thanking the skeleton (ostensibly the merchant in the narration?), and she walked behind the back of the store. There was a pay telephone, and a tall, long-haired man was there (resembling Toki Wartooth) and looking forlornly at the pay phone, while sitting on his bicycle, with a guitar strapped to his back. Snow White handed him a dollar bill, and he fed it into the phone and made a call. Snow White walked into the deep woods and was grabbed by something and tied up with rope in complex knots, unable to see.
In the next scene, the ginger Professor, the Disapproving Asian Father, and Lana Parilla have gathered in the woods to hunt missing children and recover them. They break into the back of the dark Mercantile, and inside the building there is a chubby child calling up to the monkey-tailed child (who is hanging by his tail from the rafters,) "Here, Mensa! C'mere, Mensa! Come down here!"
Also suspended from the rafters, tied up, was Snow White and two other children. They are trapped because the knots are 'monkey paw' knots, which supposedly in the dream are impossible to untie (wrong, but whatever XD). Disapproving Asian Father cuts Snow White down while Ginger Professor Lady beats up the kid who was holding the others captive. Monkey Tail Boy untied the knots and freed Snow White. Then everybody escorted the bad kid to the rift, tossed him through it with his arm sticking through it into the forest, blocking the hole.
Then we woke up.
