Happiness Is...

 seeing the moon and stars again. I was waiting to see the planetary conjunction on the 21st but it's been cloudy every night since that night. I couldn't stop staring at the moon tonight. It felt like I hadn't seen her in years.

Nice. There should be plenty of opportunity during the winter months with so much more darkness.

It's been annoyingly cloudy at night round these parts. I just have to tell myself that it's still a beautiful night no matter what the weather. I need to get lucid and frolic around in the heavens more often. No more eating of moons. I swear.

Happiness is walking home from work during golden hour. The world looked surreal and it prompted me to happily reality check.

It's been cloudy here a lot lately too.

Happiness is not wiping out on the steep and muddy trails I hiked today. I felt as if I'd conquered the universe itself simply by not falling in the mud.

Nice, lol. Must be still fairly warm there if it's muddy. Actually kind of felt like spring leaving work today here. I was kind of surprised how warm out it felt. Nearly half way through January and not had any really cold days yet.

Happiness is arriving home after the last day of the work week.

Happiness is... sleeping in. Bright side of an injury, a couple days  off work to regenerate.

Nice! I think I'm going to go outside and fall down the front steps and call in slipped on the ice and hurt my leg...  Just kidding lol. Actually, just remembered that actually happened to a co-worker of mine a while back. He was horse playing with a friend, wrestling in the snow or some such thing. he ended up twisting his ankle pretty bad and was off work for a week or so because of it.

I'm so glad I have an extra day off because of not having to work Easter Sunday. So get a three day weekend. I know it's still going to go too fast, but it's going to feel good when I get home tonight/Saturday at least.

Happiness is using a web browser that has no news article pop ups when opening the browser.

That window of when it's it's just getting warm enough to sit outside at night in the dark in a t-shirt listening to the night sounds/frogs and crickets and still early enough in the seasons where you don't get eaten by swarms of mosquitos.
