A little harsh in tonality. I'm going out on a limb on this one. Is it Klingon?

Norwegian?

Are you familiar with NLP, Shelli?

LOL, DrT.  Yes, as the language is a derivative of German, one would expect it to be harsh, but sadly, you are incorrect.  BTW, the only Klingon I know is, "Today is a good day to die!" ;-D

Norwegian?

pj - you are MUCH closer, but still not quite correct.

And, I am NOW familiar with NLP.  (Thanks, Wikipedia!)  ;)

Sounds like an interesting theory.  Also sounds like a lot of people trying to discredit it.  Maybe WE can disprove the discreditors???

I have used enough of NLP in other areas of life that I know there is something to it - to much of it, anyway.  I have never effectively applied any of the tenets to lucid dreaming, however.

French.

And my second guess was Swedish, but I decided to keep my mouth shut because I already guessed once.

Yeah, pj - bonus points for the French and for being such a gentleman and giving others a chance to guess ;)

No rules here -  whomever can guess any # of times, no real prize, except perhaps more lucidity!

Yeah, MB.  French is a bit different with translations...

This should be a fun one, maybe...

Spanish?  I speak a (very) little Italian and can usually suss out Spanish, so I don't think that's it.

And Portuguese has lots of extra phonetic marks on its alphabet.

I'm stumped on this one - more advanced linguists than I need to step up for this one.
