Not here at all.  ;)

Thought I would put my head round the door to see what was going on because I had a specific location pop up for the third time last night.

Am I sure this is just a coincidence or did it take a while to hear your roll call?

Not sure if I have visited since my stroke, that really altered my sense of time and space.

Hey, Rhapsode!!!!!

I've been actively dreaming, as you are aware, but haven't had much time to report.... still doing a lot of house stuff since the move (iadr!!), and now getting ready for a new job!  Winding down the old one, so thought I'd drop by.  I have about a month's worth of dreams/lucids to report and to read everyone's posts when I can.  Awesome idea, tho! :D

We know that feeling. The oddest feeling though is to miss several days, and come back to find out that no one else has posted either.  :chuckle:

Anyone have some ideas on how we can get some more activity here? Maybe we can start inviting some friends? Idk...

I have fallen off the journaling bandwagon for the longest time now and I feel really bad about it. It's hard to get my motivation back. I'm going to try to get back into it. :(

Maybe some scheduled chat times too?  Is there a time of the day/week when people would be more likely free to chat?

I'm always free at night, 11PM PST to about 1AM...and before noon PST if I get up in time to have time before work. I'll try to be in chat when I'm home more often. :)

Good question, Naiya! Maybe expand the subject matter beyond just dreaming.

If we did that, what other topics would people like to talk about? Science, math, psi phenomena, religion, politics? Nutrition, medicine, sports? Would be good to do a survey about what MM members are into besides dreaming.
In the secret space of dreams
Where I dreaming lay amazed
When the secrets all are told
And the petals all unfold
When there was no dream of mine
You dreamed of me.

I'm definitely for throwing around some ideas to get more members/activity.  Maybe we can have some sort of event/party to revive some activity from old members?

Beyond that, it might not be a bad idea to set back up the website to try to drive some more traffic from outside our forum.  I have a few ideas, but I do agree with johnb that it would be a good idea to see what other MMers are thinking/wanting to see.

Hey guys. Glad there's some people around still.

I was talking to Naiya about the state of things at this forum last night. I have fond memories here and I've met great people who I still talk to frequently, outside the scope of lucid dreaming discussion. I am not someone who is naturally conducive to lucid dreaming practice, so I ultimately don't really fit in here. I also feel somewhat responsible for what brought about this forum's decline, so it's hard to come over here sometimes.

What this forum needs is what it lost back then. It needs someone, or multiple people, to really dedicate themselves to it. Regardless of how you feel about what happened, there's no denying that people like pj and Moonbeam put their heart and soul into this place. I'm not saying there aren't people like that who are still around, but there's a void where those two giant personalities used to be and it has yet to be filled.

I agree with Aspir here, but I also think that some new members might help things get a little more active again. As well as reaching out to some oldbies and thinking of some ways we generate more activity.

Well hello there!

I was thinking about this place lately, and wondering if it was still active. I'm happy to see some familiar faces still around :) I didn't even get the email Wolve sent out a few days ago! I came back on a whim and glad I did.

I haven't been around much as I got caught up with a lot of life changes, but I'm as interested in dreaming as I ever was. I still research dreaming and sleeping and educating when I can, since it's always been my lifelong hobby.

I wanted to start up my journal again, as my recall has gone to hell.

It seems my return was coincidentally at a good time! Or, is there ever really such thing as a coincidence? Hehe

What would you do if you were dreaming right now?
