Excellent pictures! Really enjoy looking at them.  Look forward to seeing more stuff as well as learning more about the featured artists. Art is an area I know little about  Embarrassed
Would be cool to have some prints.

Maxfield Parrish has always been a favorite of mine.

Thanks for posting these!

Thanks for posting these. Beautiful. I think I may save some in one large JPG, or as my wallpaper and during a WBTB..imagine myself lucid in the scene.

My pleasure Moonbeam! I had hoped to get one up this week as well but midterms are slowing me down. Next week for sure. Smiley

Awesome choice, Nina.  Some are very Dali-esque, but he certainly breaks into his own ground from there.

Thanks pj. If any of you guys have suggestions for featured artist's please share!! Smiley I feel like I keep picking the same sort of artists every week and it would be easier to change it up if the suggestions came from elsewhere. Grin

I do love your taste, Nina.  It fits well with the dream inspiration, and you are introducing me to artists I'm not familiar with.  Unfortunately, that's not a world I have a lot of time for right now, so these hosted excursions of yours are a special treat and very much appreciated.

Hey guys! I must apologize...but I will probably only be able to do this once every few weeks or once a month. It's just a lot of work to actually put the post together...and during weeks where I have exams and such (which seems to be every week these days) school is the only thing on my mind. I definitely plan to keep doing the featured artist though! But it will be more so...just...whenever I can get around to it. I hope that's ok. I'd hate to disappoint anyone. Smiley

Any Nina is better than no Nina.

School first.  You have your priorities well in order.

Thank you for anything you can do!

Nina - have you ever heard of an artist who was active during the Depression named Shirley Julian?  I've not been able to find anything on her, but saw several of her prints over the weekend.  She is amazing, and I think would be a fantastic choice to feature if anything is available on her.

The pieces I saw were WPA prints from Roosevelt's program to keep artists working during the 30's.

Thanks for the suggestion! I've never heard of her. Will definitely look her up and see what I can find. Smiley
