We were talking about you saying that you receive information during SP that you do not receive while awake, right?

Trust me seriously.....I'm a Wizard. :sparkles:

@Seren I didn't know you had the hag before! You should tell me later tonight or even post it here for everyone to see (or even link it, if its already in your dream journal or something).

The idea of the hag, the experience, is frightening to me even just from descriptions. One of my first dreaming buddies who is unfortunately inactive now, Flavor of Night, had them as a child and just imagining from his descriptions was scary. Its the stuff horror stories and ghost allegations are made of and yet it has a perfectly rational explanation. The harmlessness of it, once you figure out what it is, somehow makes it more interesting to me.

Nope, no hags for me. What I meant was, I was relived to find it's a symptom of SP / parasomnia, because that means I'll never have to experience it.

It's not frightening as soon as you know what it is.  You may "observe" some fear reaction at first, but anybody who has learned enough about dreaming can get past that.  It's less scary than a lot of things you might encounter in dreams.

True... I imagine that if, for some reason, I did have to experience it, knowing what is happening certainly takes the fear out of it!
What would you do if you were dreaming right now?

It happened to me one time. I'll never forget it, I didn't feel scared of it but it was without doubt weird and creepy.

It was back when I was going to the cabin every week. I would usually lay down and take a nap right away when I got there. It was one of those occasions. I lay down on my back on the bed and started to slip into hypnagogia.  I begin hearing in my head what sounded like hundred/thousand of voices all whispering together at once. I lay there listening to it for I don't know how long before finally falling to sleep.
