Trump Impeachment

Is Trump really, actually, certifiably, and undeniably impeached? I'm having a hard time believing this is true.

I don't know. I keep seeing flashes of headline news articles about it. But have not read any of them, or even seen an entire headline before my page loads to something else. I honestly don't even care enough about what is going on in the world to even bother looking it up to find out.

Though I have always thought it odd that America decided to have someone that seems more like a cartoon character than a real person at the head of the country. But then, not like there is much for options.

 I've always thought that there must already be something seriously wrong with any individual that is so power hungry and ambitious that they would aspire to being the president of the country. But I guess someone has to have the job.

I've been following it off and on, and at the very least it's teaching me a lot about the actual impeachment process. The House of Representatives did draw up formal articles of impeachment after their investigations and hearings, now it's the Senate's responsibility to use the charges in those documents to conduct their own investigations / hearings and determine whether they constitute removal from office.

The comparison I heard that helped clarify it for me is that Impeachment is like delivering criminal charges, while the Senate process is the trial that determines guilt and decides what actions will be taken as a result. We'll see how it turns out I guess.

Someone at work yesterday mentioned that, as I had not heard anything about it. I don't follow what is going on in the world. Saw some brief news about what happened on my computer, wow. Crazy stuff going on.

I don't even know what to say about any of this. It all seems like the plot of a very badly written story.

It's completely beyond my comprehension why he would even want to be in the middle of all the worlds bullshit in the first place. Other than maybe must have some kind of major ego power trip thing going on. "Drama King?" Literally. lol.

If I had his kind of money I'd be as far removed from the world and it's BS as I possibly could be while still being physically alive.

Not necessarily associated with the impeachment but... wt actual f is happening in the US?

I don't know. I don't have any TV other than Netflix. And I've been avoiding looking at the news feed on my computer as much as possible when I turn it on and open the home page. I don't want anything to do with the world at all.

Though I heard someone at work yesterday talking about more rioting or whatever, I don't know.

At least during Trumps presidency I'm receiving checks in the mail.

All Obama did for me was cause me to lose money with his stupid Obama care. First thanks to Obama I lost all of my three weeks accumulated paid vacation time. Which I often used as supplemental pay. When I didn't work 40 hours in a week, I could add vacation hours to that week and boost my paycheck. Because of the the insurance laws imposed by Obama my hours were cut so that the company didn't have to pay the more expensive insurance. And as a result of my hours being cut for that reason, I was no longer getting enough hours to maintain my vacation pay benefits. And the three weeks of free pay I had earned for so many years of employment with the company was taken away just like that.

And then of course, on top of that, the fine for not having insurance because of the new laws. So they also took a chuck of my tax returns as well. Obama being the first president to negatively impact my life on a personal level.

Though I actually only ended up getting the fine one year.

I know money is life, but a lot of people are basing their respect for people by how they affect their finances. I've been pretty much broke for centuries and all the money stuff basically means nothing to me. What ruffles my feathers is when people parade around like King Asshole violating human rights left and right, and get a way with it time and time again just because they're rich. Not mentioning any names (cuz there would be too many) but take away their riches, political power, and celebrity, and most of the 'influential' are just money grubbing, genocidal, eco terrorist scum. /end ignorant about politics and financial futures rant
