I'm looking forward to season 4 of "The Last Kingdom" coming April 26. It's one of my favorite shows on Netflix. Hopefully the new season is as good as the rest of it was.

I watched all of "WACO." That was really good. 6 episodes, felt like a long movie. I never knew much of anything about what happened there. Just thought it was some stand off with militia fanatics or something. If real events were anything like the what happened in the show it was pretty messed up.

Started watching "Shooter" last night just stumbled across it as I was looking through TV shows. That has been really good so far. I think watching it influenced some of my earlier action dreams I was having last night but didn't recall very well.

I'll catch Waco next time I feel like binging.

I recently watched True Terror with Robert Englund, scary and paranormal stories in the newspapers from 1900's and earlier.

Last night I started the Holzer files. A paranormal researcher from 50 years ago had loads of investigation files. The show is a new group of people going back to the places he investigated decades ago to check out the paranormal activity, if any, that is still there. The show also has input from Holzer's children too, which gives it a much more human touch, I think.

Well can always watch a little at a time. But you know how that goes when you start getting into it.

Cool, I was recently thinking about the lady I know that actually does paranormal investigating. She said she would take me along sometime. Maybe I'll take her up on that if this pandemic thing is ever over. Since my puppy is gone of course no reason to be home, I can go ghost hunting... I'd love to see something real that convinces you beyond doubt hauntings are real. She works for a local paranormal agency, I didn't know there was one. And she told me she actually knows the guys from the ghost hunters cable show.

Do it! I've been on a few paranormal investigations and they're interesting if you're also interested in the history of the place and have someone on hand to tell about it. Before the pandemic I was saving up money to go on an investigation at the Ohio State Reformatory aka 'the Shawshank Prison'. Luckily I didn't purchase the tickets yet. I'm still going to go but only when I feel safe about the pandemic situation, not when the leaders say it's okay because frankly, their true colors are blazing like wild fires and I don't possess an iota of trust in any of them.

But yes, paranormal investigate down the road when it's safe again and when you get the chance.

That sounds like it would be fun... Yeah, I'd live to. I don't think I want to travel anywhere to do it but if something comes up in the area I would like to tag along and see what happens. I'll talk to her about it if/when I see her again. I don't know if she has been working or what. But I could always contact her through the website too if I don't see her at work again.

I saw that there is a documentary about the Carona virus coming to Netflix tomorrow/Sunday too. Should be an interesting watch.

The new documentary Caronavirus explained was alright but very short and didn't say much of anything anyone even vaguely following events doesn't already know so kind of pointless. The better documentary show on Netflix to watch is called Pandemic which I watched a few episodes of when this all started.

Checked out Waco. Stayed up till 3 am to finish it off. I unintentionally sympathized with the Branch Davidians because the governments do all the same demented and heartless things to minorities all over the world. It's happening still and I honestly think the governments are using the Covid crisis to trample and spit on the rights of people even more.

Yeah, the government were definitely the bad guys in that show. Wondering how much of that was an accurate depiction of events. It could have been very similar to what really happened or not even close... Who knows.

Been watching Vampire Diaries. It's kind of a fun show but wondering if I'm the only one that's watched it and thinks it's a little disturbing how they are depicting really old vampire guys having sex with under age high school girls.  And a show directed at teen viewers with non stop alcohol consumption. They are constantly pouring whiskey or having some kind of drink in their hands and doing shots at the bar. Even under age kids working at the bar serving alcohol. Just seems weird normalizing so much alcoholism directed at teen viewers.  It's not just a little bit of drinking here and there, it's constantly.  Watching so much drinking started making me even crave to go buy a bottle of whiskey and I don't even like drinking much anymore.

I keep thinking about how messed up Vampire Diaries is.  Stop it brain, it's just a TV show. Lol. It's just supposed to be fun and not taken that literal despites the fact it's about two, hundred plus year old alcoholic brothers living together and taking turns with a seventeen year old high school girl and written like a teen romance drama with a messed up love triangle. And their one thousand year old nemesis lusting after a girl that just turned 18 and screwing her in the forest before taking off to another city and leaving her.

But all the drinking is actually more disturbing. Seems kind of irresponsible on the part of the writers, like they are trying to purposely encourage and promote teenage alcoholism.

Edit: Just after making this post I put the show on.  It's morning Damon is in the kitchen making breakfast, spatula in one hand flipping pancakes. Can you guess what's in his other hand? A bottle of whiskey lol. He is chugging off the bottle with one hand while making breakfast flipping pancakes with the other. See what I'm saying lol. It's that way throughout the entire show.  Why? Very next scene after that. Elena's teenage brother is waking up from sleeping on the couch. Guess the first thing he does upon waking up.  Picks up a bottle of whiskey that is on the table and pours himself a glass of whisky and starts drinking it while talking to his roommate. I don't undertstand... Why so much non stop drinking in a show directed at teenage viewers.

Well despite my rant I think Vampire Diaries is pretty good over all, and there is some good heart felt issues they deal with.. About love and tragedy and loss and all that.

I was watching Secret Life Of Pets 2. Because I was enjoying something bright colorful happy and fun. And looks stunning on my Dell Inspiron with the animation option selected in the Del cinema colors.  I should start watching more animated movies.

Well, with only seven episodes left in the final season of Vampire Diaries. I'm having difficulty finishing it. I've been enjoying the show over all but it's just that. "Spoiler Alert"

Every character has gone back and forth from good to evil to good again so many times and so many characters have died and come back to life. It's just difficult to continue caring. Even though the show is still full of action and drama it's just so much of the same old same old that I keep tuning out on it and getting bored now. Losing interest in what the characters are dealing with. And right now in the show they have been hatching a plot to kill the devil which is a character that is already dead because he was murdered similar to a which burning by a village and ended up becoming the devil. So kind of confused about how you kill someone that is actually already dead. lol. I don't know, I'm tired right now which is also odd since I slept most of the day and only been awake less than four hours.

I watched a couple of episodes of Magic For Humans. It's fun but it seems like just a ripoff of Carbonaro Effect. Same thing, a guy using magic to pull practical jokes on unsuspecting people in public. That is always entertaining and funny though. Giving people some serious reality check moments.

People are talking about Dead to Me. Must be a good one.

I recently watched the Color Out of Space, starring Nick Cage. It was modernized, of course. Ages ago I read the story. I can't recall if the creatures in the movie were the same as the story... or if it even had such creatures at all. I got bored quickly, the characters were pretty wooden. Maybe they were going for the so normal that they're boring angle? Who knows. I watched the entire movie and was very unimpressed by the whole thing. I really wanted to like this one.

Too bad. I hate when something you hope is going to be good and turns out boring.

I stumbled on a documentary called "Have A Good Trip: Adventures In Psychedelics. It was a good fun watch.

In the documentary there is a funny interview with Kerry Fisher/Princess Lea from Star Wars. I had no idea she was a total Acid head. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, given her age and era the Star Wars movies were made. But in knowing, I don't think I'm ever going to be able to see Star Wars the same way again.. lol. She wasn't just an occasional user, she was like the queen of LSD. She had an entire house with the idea of tripping on acid in mind and all it's decorations, and travelled all over the world looking for new fun places for her acid trips... She tells a funny story about a time she was tripping out of her mind, outdoors, practically completely naked for sure topless.
And suddenly a van pulls up full of tourist and they all get out and she standing there naked in front of them tripping out of her mind lol. She had had no idea she was at the place they stop for their lunch on their tour.
