Food Deprivation Induced LD
« on: December 31, 2020, 02:03:27 AM »
I saw a post on social media by someone whom I know, knows next to nothing about lucid dreaming, that basically said, " don't eat for an entire day and you will have vivid or lucid dreams due to certain chemicals being over produced in your brain."

Anyone tried this? I may experiment on myself this week and see what happens.

Yeah, I pretty much quit eating for a while. After about 24 hours of not having a single bite of food and going to sleep had some pretty crazy dreams. Also sometimes the people in survival shows talk about the crazy dreams they were having when they're starving.

I was thinking about it. But I was really sick a lot last winter and I was guessing maybe because my immune system was down because of lack of nutrition and not eating. And getting sick always hinders my progress. So I was thinking I might be better off just to eat... And hope I don't get sick as much as last winter. Earlier in the week I thought for sure I was starting to come down with something, I was feeling like shit, but then fine two days later. "Shrugs" Weird.

I was supposed to fast and then mediate on lucidity New Moon night but it slipped my mind. I did reality check a lot on the 13th. I got lucid for about 5 seconds that night. Baby steps.

The longest I've gone recently without eating anything is 16 hours.
