Conjuring Tips
« on: September 29, 2008, 01:08:39 PM »
I've gotten pretty decent at conjuring as of late. Like any other LD skill, it relies on tricks of the mind. For me, I rely on reasonable expectation that the person:

1) could pentrate my dream
2) would be interested in entering my dream and/or flattered to hear that they did
3) has given me permission to pull them into my dream.

- Going to a particular room to find them works well

- Asking a DC to go retrieve the person in question seems to work

- Calling out for them and letting your dream determine where they are by listening for a response.

In all of those cases, you need to be quite convinced that it will work, obviously.

Ex 1 -  Conjure BSG's model 6

That one was easy. She enters peoples dreams and visions anyway, why not mine? Head into a room 100% convinced you will find her.

Ex 2 - Conjuring specific sex partners

I find it very easy to conjure woman who indirectly show some interest in me. Maybe it's a look at the gym, maybe it's something flirty they said, etc ... As soon as I genuinely think they may have a little thing for me - they are easy to pull into my dreams. This is a nice skill to have  ;)

Ex -3 Conjuring old friends.

This one was pretty easy. Call them up and simply let them know you'll be pulling them into your dream. Ask if that's cool? They will almost certainly say yes which gives you permission so to speak. Ask them to think about entering your dream before they go to bed. etc ...

Anyhow, just a few tips I have found to be useful. Hope they help. Any other good suggestion? Add to the list with a reply ...
"In a fearful stampede to save themselves from the terrifying menace of an original idea, the herd can become a mindless destroyer of the light." - Thomas Campbell

"I just had to get nice last night. My Mind is so free, you wouldn't believe ... you wouldn't believe" - Dave Wyndorf

"I don't understand. How can less be more? That's impossible. More is more." - Yngwie Malmsteen

There's the old trick of expecting them behind you, then turning around.
