Here is the list of the things I do before going to bed. I find it helpful to do them in order, as they help me focus on preparing myself to dream. I always set up a similar routine when I want to get back to lucid dreaming.
After the usual shower and teethbrushing, I start with
Makko-Ho exercises. Then I focus on my breath for five to ten minutes (until I'm lightly buzzing), and I finish with a short reiki session. During the energy work, I send messages to my subconscious, thanking him for giving me intuitions during the day and telling him to help me remember my dreams. I focus on the physical sensations I experience when I'm connected to him and tell him something like "Hey, thanks for that. I'd appreciate it if you sent me a few lds tonight because I'd like to [goals for the night]." If I don't have anything precise to dream about, I think something along the lines of "anything you would consider beneficial for me at this present time".
I've done this for about a week, and I've already had lucid fragments these past few nights.
