Dallyup's memory book
« on: June 01, 2009, 08:43:59 AM »
-How many dreams do you remember a week on average?

40-50 in words and another 25-40 that are unworded, just experiences

-How many hours of sleep do you get a night on average? You can separate workdays/school days from days off.

8.5 hrs.

-How do you wake up in the morning? (Alarm clock, someone awakens you, or other means)

Wake myself up several times during the night either by intention or old age.  :D
I have always been able to tell myself when I wanted to awaken and then just awaken at the predetermined time.

-Do you consider yourself a light or a heavy sleeper?

A light sleeper

Also, please make yourself a goal for how much you wish to increase your dream recall and post it in your workbook

I want to increase the recall of my lucid dreams, in particular by 50%.

Went to sleep and woke up several times during the night, as usual.  Each time I wake up I lie there and let my mind travel back to the dream space and go over the last several dreams and then as slowly as I am able, I drift back to sleep space.

I invoke the Kundalini each time I return to dream space.

Did not remember any Lucids.  All very vivid dreams.

Ate a heavy meal of Spaghetti just before bed and wondered if it would have any effect.  I did my Kundalini entrainment with body energy movement and breathing exercises around 3AM. (I breath energy in through my feet and hands through the chakras to my heart that is twirling like a paddle wheel.  Then when I exhale I use the paddle wheel heart to flow the energy out the crown chakra to someone who I think might need it. Every now and then I run energy up and down the chakras.) I am always surprised at how much energy that can take with the body so relaxed.  I stuck with it and I remembered 7 lucids (along with a bunch of regular dreams).

Very nice, loving, interesting (to me anyway), and full of "body" feel (my wife and I were rolling/somersaulting around on the bed.  I am always surprised when that doesn't wake her or me up.  The yelling and other loud noises certainly should wake us up .. but don't.) My dead father was yelling things to me for a while. I listened for more but he stopped shortly after he started.

The workshop must be working for me.  I get so bummed when I haven't experienced/remembered a lucid in a few days.  I miss that energy out there a lot when I don't get there (or don't remember it.)

That's great to hear! :D I actually thought a heavy meal would have the opposite effect, but not for you! ;)

I didn't remember any lucids last night but I did remember several vivid dreams with one in particular that was about my wife and a little disturbing (to me).

I was getting between her and a man she works with over and over again.  I am not sure if it was telling me that I am feeling jealous of a male work friend or that I should be taking a more aggressive stand to either protect her or our relationship, in relation to her work "friend".

We have never had any fidelity issues and have been married for about 15 years.

My wife just called and told me that she was assigned to team teach with this friend next school year.   Hummmm.

He was supposed to team teach with another colleague and she doesn't know why it was changed.

I don't believe in coincidence.
What truly matters is not built of right and wrong; but of grace, and of love.

Neither do I.  ;)

Last night I did nothing different than any other night. Yet when I woke up, in the morning, there was no memory of any dreams.  As I lay there one long dream floated back into my awareness.  It was a long nice dream with me lying on top of my wife sleeping and/or resting comfortably. Several other unworded dreams were in my experience.

Last night I awoke several times during the night (not unusual) and remembered several dreams each time.  Many of them were very long but I could not, for the life of me, figure out what they had to do with this waking reality. They must have something to do with another waking reality that I am involved in.

I remember vaguely and unwordedly a couple of Lucid experiences .... Those are the ones that I want to bring forward into this reality but have not yet been able to .   Maybe tomorrow night.

I woke often and remembered dreams each time I awoke.  I seem to dream a lot of dreams each night. Waking up several times a night must help me recall them.

Some were rather strange but seemed meaningful to me.  One in particular was about memory and the images had to do with the cut facets of stones where the memories were stored. The facets were not like crystal or diamond facets but of some rock that had more elongated (somewhat oval) shear planes.

Most of the dreams were more abstract when brought back into this reality .. They made more "sense" over on that side.

Good recall just no lucids.

Last night I felt the Shaktipat (Kundalini) guru guy reaching out last night as he started to ramp up for the summer solstice.  Very amazing experience of energy flow that I feel. My whole body starts to tingles and if I don't consciously start to move the energy, in the way I described in a previous post, it builds up to the point of being very uncomfortable.

Like my head is going to explode.  :sad1:  So I do the movement thingy.

I remembered that I was doing the same thing last night also.

Dreams were similar to last night with little that I could decipher for my life in this reality and no Lucids remembered.  All very vivid and "real"

Lots of dreams and recall last night.  I think that my SC is wanting me to remember.  There was a hot young woman friend last night who stood up and took her shirt off .. revealing a very beautiful upper portion of her body to me ( and everyone at the dinner.)  It was to say .... remember me ... remember this.  And I did.

The rest of the dreams were not so dramatic.  Things like a friend playing with a mouse who was groggy from the cold weather.  What was that about?  Many of my dreams, though they make quite good sense at the time, make no sense to me in relation to this waking reality.

I was surprised not to feel the K energy last night.  Maybe he slacked off a bit .... shaktipat doesn't really start until the 21st (solstice)

No beautiful half naked women last night but the "K" flow was back gently, tingly, in the morning.  I didn't remember many dreams but I had one that was especially nice for me.

I had just done something nice for a DC and he gave me something, maybe money.  Then he came back and gave me something really little and told me to wait to look at it.   I thanked him and waited until he was a little distance away and then looked at it.  The small object was a partially cut diamond.  I held it up to my "eye" and looked into it.  There was a whole world of diamonds inside the stone.  Brilliant colors and shapes.  Very beautiful.  I was becoming aware that I was in a dream and starting to awaken.  I still could feel it in my hand as I awoke and put it in my pocket .. all the while knowing that it would stay with me but not in a physical sense.  I had brought it over with me from the dream. Like bringing a thought, a feeling, some energetic gift.
