Zhon's Workbook
« on: June 01, 2009, 10:09:41 AM »
-How many dreams do you remember a week on average?
I can only remember three or four.

-How many hours of sleep do you get a night on average?
On school days, seven hours.
On weekends/days off, eight or more depending on how tired I was the night before.

-How do you wake up in the morning? (Alarm clock, someone awakens you, or other means)
I use two alarm clocks set three minutes apart.

-Do you consider yourself a light or a heavy sleeper?
I'm definitely a heavy.

Goal for improving Recall
I'd like to be able to remember 2-3 dreams each night, if possible.  Right now I forget so many of them, and most of the time the only impression I get from my dreams when I wake up is that I had a couple.

ugh...

In three days, the only dream I've been able to recall is a small fragment of a musical performance (June 4th)

Have you been getting enough sleep? If you haven't, you should! If you're not rested, your dream recall will suffer.

I'm pretty sure that I've been getting enough sleep, but I can't be certain....

A lot of stuff has been going on, though, and during the day there have been points where I feel so tired that it's all I can do to avoid falling asleep then and there.  I have no idea what's going on.

:gaah:  my recall is horrible!  :banghead:  All I remember from last night is that I had a dream.

I guess I should update my workbook.

June 12-13: no recall

June 14: one somewhat-vivid dream.

Last night: no recall

June 18:  One small fragment (I didn't get to my DJ soon enough to record any details)

Evaluation:  Partial success.  I'm now remembering roughly one dream every other night, and at least the impression of a fragment each night when it isn't a full dream (nothing worth writing down, but it's progress).

This was a huge help.  :thankyou:   Lumi!
