Baphomet's Workbook
« on: June 04, 2009, 04:47:52 AM »
Dreams per Week: Right now I am in a MAJOR slump. Maybe one a week if we count fragments.

Hours of Sleep per Night: At least eight. Could squeeze in more...

Method of Awakening: Cat, usually. :?  Otherwise I wake up naturally.

Quality of Sleep: Pretty sound. I can't always get back to sleep after I wake up though, unless I've taken a xanex, in which case I can sleep forever.

Recall Goal: Let's swing for the fence. What's that R.E.M. song where Stipe sings "I don't sleep, I dream"?

Day two: no sleep so no recall.

Day three: lack of sleep and abundance of alcohol led to 12 hours of sleeping like a log with no recall. I went to the bathroom and laid back down, too beat to attempt a WILD. Woke up with a fragment, stayed in bed eyes closed until, I had expanded the fragment into a dream. So there's a little success, I suppose.  :)

And gee, it only took like thirteen hours of sleep...    :?

Monkey chatter all night, but hey, at least I recall a lot of it!

I can't call them dreams, or even fragments, but occasionally I'll be aware that my self dialogue was running nonstop. I call it monkey chatter.

Today I took a Xanax, and I'm convinced that they always prevent my recall. Still I can't help but feel there was something to be recalled that wasn't being recalled, if that makes any sense. I think my SC know I'm making this effort.

Kind of odd, I remember psyching myself up for the big dream with clear recall, talking to my SC, and planning to attempt a WILD as I went to sleep but must have just flat crashed in the middle of doing so.

I was jarred awake several times and I could feel the recall melt away...

 :gaah:

However, there was a fragment that I was able to extract a dream from.

Ugh..

Not feeling well? :( Or not doing well with your dream recall?

I can't seem to shake this slump. And now it's insomnia time.   :?

Pretty cool... I woke up with a fragment and gathers as much as I could. Then I turned on the TV and a few seconds later I got this flash, just the whiff of a dream. I turned off the TV, closed my eyes, and it all started coming back.  ;-D
