Welcome!
« on: December 21, 2009, 01:50:05 PM »
Welcome to the Lucid Task Remembrance Workshop forum.  In this workshop, techniques developed by our own Dr. Technical will be presented.

This is the check-in and pre-discussion thread.

This will be a lean workshop.  We will not require workbooks or anything other than a willingness to learn and a promise that you will carry out the exercieses and report back your successes (and failures).  Many of the techniques build upon each other, therefore you should make every effort to participate daily.  Yeah, it's kind of like Algebra...

The proposed topics for this workshop are going to be pretty comprehensive. They are all time proven techniques that I've read about or personally developed.

The workshop will focus primarily on lucid task rememberance, but touch on other topics such as lucid dream induction, dream incubation and so forth. All of these challenges are joined at the hip as you no doubt realize.

Looking forward to answering questions and seeing if anyone can leverage some of these ideas to have some great lucids. They work for me  :)

Haven't had any lucids lately, but I'll take advantage of my current motivation and sign up! :)  Has it been decided how long the workshop will run?
Returning to the basics... again.

Yay! So is it all right to make a progress thread for myself or something like that, or are we going to be posting our progress in the threads with the techniques in them?  :content:

Some of the mental exercises that I use to recall lucid tasks can also have an impact on awareness and dream incubation in general. So it's definately possible you will get a lucid kick from trying these methods.
"In a fearful stampede to save themselves from the terrifying menace of an original idea, the herd can become a mindless destroyer of the light." - Thomas Campbell

"I just had to get nice last night. My Mind is so free, you wouldn't believe ... you wouldn't believe" - Dave Wyndorf

"I don't understand. How can less be more? That's impossible. More is more." - Yngwie Malmsteen

I told myself I'd get Lucid sometime during this Xmas break of mine, and this seems like the perfect thing to help. I'm in.  :)

I'll take part in this, seeing as how I've started to have LDs again but I never do anything meaningful in them. It's exactly what I was about to do alone :P

(and I have to start posting somewhere) :D

So are we supposed to report things in this thread or in our DJ or where?

If it is related to this workshop, please reply in the appropriate thread.
