Reminder: Wake Initiated Lucid Dream Lucid dreaming is initiated from the waking state. This is achieved by a lucid dream from the waking state to the dream state while remaining conscious. Thus the body is asleep but the mind remains conscious.
We know there are various variant to induce a WILD, we will focus on a technique I experienced by chance a few years ago, it is a WILD induced by voluntary viewing.
To maximize your chances of success, it is advisable to introduce this technique as a result of any alarm or induced by autosuggestion voluntarily or by a ringtone.- When you are conscious of being back in your waking world, try to stay very still and do not open your eyes.
You will now choose a display built around a movement, however slight.
This can range from a simple scene or you imagine touching a wall, a door handle, a carpet of sand.
The notion of movement in these examples is the hand.
You can also imagine walking down the street, climb a ladder, you throw it out the window or even contemplate a waterfall flowing down a mountain.
You guessed it, this is huge, everything is possible, give free rein to your imagination!
To the extent possible, find something short and simple that you can view several times if necessary!
From experience, it must be done quickly or you'll get out of this state and you will be too sleepy awake.
If everything goes as planned, you will have no doubt of your success.
This will display the consistency and become so realistic that you will find yourself drawn into.
The result is not necessarily identical to the display you have chosen but you still came in a dream being aware.
The important feature of this type of WILD is accessible to everyone, it happen quickly and without any constraint related to the sleep of the body.
You should not feel the muscle atonia or crushing your ribcage caused by a breathing machine.
Now, for those who are subject to the Sleep Paralysis, know that you can use the display when you are faced with coenesthetic Hallucinations and kinesthetic.
In this state, you can usually get the impression of floating, spinning or even vibrate
It is sometimes difficult to use this type of hallucination to achieve your WILD.
Note that you can simply close your eyes and use visualization.
Other times, it happens that you get to control parts of your body dreams during this intermediate state,
This may be your feet, your head or your arms!
Besides opening your eyes, it may happen that by moving your arms for example, you see nothing, or rather you see a shadow representing that part of the body.
If you firmly believe to move a part of your dream body, close your eyes and act out movement of your choice that you control and add a visualization with glue.
For those who control their arms, you can view spirited swim front crawl or even climb a tree or climb a wall.
The key is to feel the movements as closely as possible with your dream body.
Small apartments, this technique also works well without visualization.
