The Debriefing:Became lucid under the surface of the ocean, flew up and landed on my ship and actually followed my own advice, which was to sit and fully visualize the flight before I began it. This was the key to finally achieving this goal.
I floated up feeling a rush of power and excitement, adventure and recklessness. Even though I was in perfect control of my flight I added the hand boosters, and took off. I spent longer than I expected over the ocean, but soon was flying between the sky scrapers of a city. The audio in this part of the dream was very loud, just as I was focusing on this I heard the piercing cry of a hawk. And was joined by my bonus goal

my dream bird.
In all my visualizations I had seen a raven (because of the raven feather I had found) It is interesting to note that I have seen a pair of ravens and a pair of red-tailed hawks chasing each other over the valley in the city, fighting over the territory. So the bird flew by my side and I greatly enjoyed his company as we made it into the mountains. We flew around each other with aerobatic skill having a lot of fun. I was aware the mountains were out of order but was having so much fun I didn't worry. I passed over a town within the mountain range and decided to land, meditating again to re-stabilize the dream, gaining clarity I didn't even notice I had lost, then continued, flying over a huge expanse of forest. The hawk stayed with me the entire time. I started looking for the ocean expecting it to suddenly cut the land short, I ended up going through another mountain range and then again flying over the restless waves. Just then the hawk flew up and then circled back leaving me.
After that I relaxed, it was just a matter of finding the ship, I completely enjoyed flying over the ocean, sporting between the waves like I did with the hawk. The ship came up completely on its own and I landed on it softly, ecstatic this was all so easy. I meditated and then continued enjoying the lucid.
Conclusions:Meditation during this dream was the key to success, but I think it would have taken many more tries to complete it if I hadn't been keeping up with my visualization meditations.
