We interrupt your normal daily routine to bring you this public dreaming announcement. Please stop what you are doing, look around, and ask yourself if anything seems out of place where you are at. Select an object or person that you are familiar with, and ask yourself how it got there and where it came from. As you are answering, pay attention to your answer and whether it makes sense. You may just find that you are in a dream. Remember, only
you can prevent non-lucids.
- Kar has founded and organized a study group for lucid dreaming, the first meeting of which was held Friday, October 7th, at 21:00 Eastern in the dreaming channel of the MM chat. The turnout was quite good, and many ideas were shared during the meeting. Keep your eyes open for logs here and look in this thread for more information.
- Rebel Seven is now handing out badges for the completion of certain lucid tasks. Visit this thread to find out more. There are currently 19 badges, so collect them all.
- Evergrass has started a thread for the purpose of displaying art based off of your DC. Come get to know the DC that have already been featured and show off your own as well in the Art of the DC thread.
- Pj is currently leading a series of discussions about how Mortal Mist in managed. If you are interested, come check it out at the Moving Toward Member Management thread.
- DrTechnical has offered help to those that need a mentor to overcome challenges they are facing with lucid dreaming. If you are trying to get lucid and failing, he may be able to help you. More information can be found here.

Making it to A Strange House while lucid and talking to a person or ghost there will earn a Gold Award. Making it to A Strange House while lucid but not talking to anyone there will earn a Silver Award. Making it to A Strange House in a non-lucid dream will earn a bronze award.

This month's lucid tasks will be the same as last month. Next month we will carry on with a new set of tasks. Any badges that were received last month will stay in effect for the rest of October, and awards from the September challenges will be granted upon completion and last until the end of November, at which point the November challenges will continue.
Basic Challenge: Swim through money like Uncle Scrooge, or complete your own personal task.
Intermediate Challenge: Find a
DC and wake them up.
Advanced Challenge: Explore a pyramid.
