-Oh, no, no. I was just wondering if you could help me find my way.
-Well that depends on where you want to get to.
-Oh, it really doesn't matter, as long as...
-Then it really doesn't matter which way you go.

So I thought I would try something new today. I'm already really excited about it.
Basically I'm just going to write down a WILD how I want it to happen tonight. I have allowed my mind to work a bit on it's own, providing the imagery and sensations for me to describe.
Here goes:

I've just felt the second wave of vibrations. They were violent, like falling through a wormhole. But they subside. I slowly open my eyes. To my bedroom. At first I'm disappointed, but I do a nose-check. I'm dreaming. I get excited, but maintain control. I take off my socks and pat myself down in an attempt to stabilize. I also imagine a corked potion in my pocket. I reach into my pocket and pull it out. It looks like a starry night sky in liquid form. I decide that this is a "Dream Stability Potion". I drink it and it tastes like grape. The Dream scene jumps into clarity! I decide to try out one of Dr.T's ideas from his early dream journal: Summon a portal leading to an ocean with beach + cliff and then jump in. With a variation though. Mine will be in the floor so I can "fall in". I walk over to the other side of the room by the tv. It is much more open that any other part of the room. I crouch down on my hands and knees and start to swipe at the carpet, like zooming on an iphone screen. A circular opening reveals itself, with an electricity-like blue border and clouds racing by in the fore with the beach and ocean in sight below them. I stretch the opening a bit more, stand up, and jump in.
The feeling is overwhelming. I am falling at a ridiculous speed, the visuals blurring around me in vibrant colors. I can't help but think of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword as I position my body to allow for less air resistance. It is at this point where I realize that I haven't given much thought to how I am going to break my fall! Thinking off of my feet, I position my palms down like Iron Man does and shoot fire to slow down to a more controllable speed and make my way to the beach.
I've made it. Finally. I sit down and admire the beauty. After taking it all in, I get up and walk up the beach to find a deep forest. I look down at my hands and find that I am wearing Link's gloves. Upon further inspection, I am wearing his whole get-up, green tunic and all. This is getting interesting. The forest is beautiful, breathtaking greens, sunlight passing through the canopy to illuminate the path before me. I realize that, being Link, there should be some enemies around. Speak of the devil, behind me I hear a battle cry as a knight whose helmet covers his eyes charges toward me with a battle axe. I counter with the sword I pulled from my sheathe just in the nick of time. I put out of my hand and use a force push to send him spinning back. I chase him down and again meet his axe. I overwhelm him and land a slash across his chest. He falls to the ground and explodes in purple smoke (as is Zelda tradition).

At this point I would let the dream unfold on its own.  :content:

Cool! Now that's what I call preparing for a lucid dream. Hope it works for ya. Maybe I should do the same for my visit to Mordor, since my SC has me questioning if I'm really prepared to go that route.

How did it work out?

I didn't have any kind of lucid that night sadly. But I am still going to keep trying. The upside of all this is that I now have a plan of action for my next lucid, WILD or not.
