Are you asking for a challenge?!
« on: March 17, 2013, 03:03:11 PM »

I shall have all my current, long term, and random challenges I have for myself on here. I have a weird way of putting things, but it should work good on here. Here we go!

Things I have done thus far:

Fire

I have extreme control over fire. Came easy to me since my first LD that something attacked me (girl tried to bite off my face, I melted hers). I can set any body part on fire, but sometimes have trouble just setting a fire away from me. I have used Harry Potter spell (without a wand) to throw it if needed, using "Incendio!"
I normally just imagine moving energy there and the feeling of flames.

Lightning
Only did it once. I did the hand signs for Chidori:

And imagined the energy moving there like with fire. I got some lightning out of it, but it wasn't quite like Kakashi.

Telekinesis
Okay, so at first I just considered this as "The Force". When I was younger I thought that if I spend enough time trying to use the force, and imagine it working, it will transfer to my dreams. It worked and any time I was in trouble I would force push people away or bring something to me with the force.

When I started getting lucid it was easy to transfer over since I had done it tons before.

Rasengan

Same as last one. Did it before even knowing about LDing.

Melchee's Lance

Same as last two. before LDing. Transferred easily.

Teleport
a few different ways. Sometimes turn around, sometimes just blink. The second has been easier, as long as I am stable I stay in the dream.

Barrier
I can create a barrier that has its own rules inside it. I make it. I can use this for teleporting. Barrier can look like whatever I choose. Basically all powerful in a chosen place. Most common use is to stop a door from being opened.

Master of Time
I can change someone's age from young to old, or vice versa. I normally put my hand in front of there face and feel the energy go there and imagine them aging forward or backward.

Flying
Sadly enough, the last thing I mastered. I really struggled with it at first, but when I finally got it I haven't had trouble with anything in my dream realm, almost completely all powerful. Planning on gaining omnipotence soon, but probably won't use it except for the molding of fun in my universe!

Current challenges:

Finish stabilization method
This is a watch with a button on it. When I touch the watch it stabilizes the world and makes time slow down so I can have time in the dream world. It connects to everything in the universe I am in and forcefully slows it down. Not able to see it, but it can be felt when energy is unleashed.

Big fun goal
My ideal dream realm is complicated, but in order to get any items I must go to a realm and get it. There is one realm where normal dreams are at, and it is a random crazy place. When I stabilize in a dream it will make that place calm for long so that I can go to my dream house. In it is an item that I use to carry my items (That I don't have) and I can only carry 5 at a time. This is to limit my powers within realms. I can turn anything I control, own, or have subdued into an item that goes into that bag. I want to seal all my powers into items individually so I don't get too overpowered, but I can still use all dream powers. Starting with my sword and my fire, because I want an awesome sword, and if I can set anything in a universe on fire in a second, then I will be able to overpower most enemies that I will be fighting for a while. I have about a million rules and ways for this to work, but right now I just need to find the house with the item that holds all my items.

LDing goals
"Don't count your LDs!" I have heard time and again, but I really like doing it, because I am really really competitive. I want to have tons and have them counted, because it makes me push myself to do better.

Have 1 lucid a night for a week
highest now is 3 nights in a row.

Have 31 lucids this month
I have 18 lucids/17 days right now. I haven't accomplished this before. The closest I got was 28 lucids/31 days in January

Have over 300 LDs by July
I am at 116 induced since July last year. I have 4 months and 184 left to do. Doesn't sound quite right, but it is a really tough challenge, I will need to surpass all my limits now. :)

Have over 730 LDs (2 a day) in 2013
66 lucids/76 days so far. I need to step it up, but I don't plan on slowing down, but speeding up. last year from July to December is 182 days. I had about 50 LDs in that time. If you track the progress and find out what it should be by LDs a month from the start (4 a month) to now (approx 25) I shall end up with about 800 this year. But that is only if I can keep advancing as fast as I am now. If I do it by LDs a week from the start (1 a week) to now (6.1 a week) I should have 850. So either way, the pace is to 800, I just need to keep it up. :P

So these are just random goals of mine. I will post them as I finish them. Probably post any updates as well. I plan to use this a lot so that I can keep track of progress. Some of them should be easy, some might change if the statistics change. :P I hope you enjoyed the pics and the random numbers that I threw at you. :P If you have any questions about the math or the pics or my goals or anything, feel free to comment. I love talking to people about LDing.

Wow!  This is cool.  I love "Rasengan", whatever that is.

Why are you not supposed to count your LD's?

Rasegan is from Naruto. It is really cool to do since it is pure chakra (life energy, I don't beleive in, but I do in dreams). :)

Lots of people say that if you count your LDs it is convincing themselves that it is something hard to do instead of something that it should be doing. They also say that if you count and go on a dry spell then you will be really sad. Seems to work well for some people, but I am more of a competitive type. I need a goal to hit to shine. :P

Same here, but I'm kind of losing at the moment.  :sad1:

Losing? You should be able to find something in 600 LDs that should be able to almost always get you lucid! If you are the competitive type, then do you want to challenge? :P I don't know what you'd win, but bragging rights are always fun. Haha. I am no natural BTW, I have spent lots of time researching everything and pouring over my own statistics to find what works. I am not one of the crazies that are like "lucid dream? OK" and are then always lucid.
