warehouse dream

I work at a warehouse and in my dream I'm at work(but I didn't know it at first). I get a call on my phone. I answer and it's my girlfriend she says alex(a girl she was best friends with and has a crush on) had called and wanted to see me. I asked why and she said why do you think? I'm confused and they ask for me to come meet them. They didn't say where but I some how just knew where to go, this is when I realized I was at work. I met them behind a few racks and boxes at work and they start fooling around and I get involved. After I while I notice my coworkers have gathered and are just watching blankly. Alex gets up and leaves when I see them. my girlfriend and I leave in another direction and my girlfriend says Alex will come back in 3 weeks.


I know this sounds like a wet dream but I didn't wake up aroused and it feels significant some how. If someone could help me dissect this it would be much appreciated. And if it helps I remember being confused more than anything.

maybe the feelings involved between the three of you don't fit into the roles and expectations you've fit into in waking life, so some of your thoughts and feelings have gone underground

I mean, just this in itself is complicated.  Only guessing, but I think the warehouse environment is playing the role of social expectations and judgments here

    .. just a general reply... I think this is one you'd be able to hash out yourself with some effort if you feel it would be beneficial to you. 

the follow up questions are something like "are you attracted to Alex?",  "How does your GFs crush make you feel... about the security of your relationship... about yourself... about anything?" "are you generally interested in 3 way hook ups?" etc.

of course, no pressure at all to answer here

Yes I am attracted to Alex. Only in a sexual way not romantic.

I've felt rocky about us for a while so I could see the security in the relationship being compromised and I am way in to three ways.

But reflecting on the social judgements remark along with a few other things you said I can see why my brain would form this oddball of a dream after recent events. I appreciate you taking the time to help.
