Yup, Psychedelics of some sort more than likely LSD.  Psychedelics can be a very power means of self exploration especially the dissolving ones ego to see the world without the cloud of "self" muddying the waters.  I experimented with pretty much every psychedelic imaginable and attribute my current perspective on life toward that.  As for the movie just being plain bonkers, yea it is :P

O1 - I've had very, VERY limited experience.  I can relate to the images though.  I really liked the movie, and watched it in late August with kidlet #1 who is taking a music minor (along with bio) and took a modern music course over the summer.  Of course one chapter was required for The Beatles, so she appreciated the movie just that much more.  (Both kidlets have had much integration with Beatles/McCartney/Lennon/ music - I raised them right !)

Now that you brought this up again, I wonder if anyone has any other suggestions from literature/music/movies/commercials/inventions...

One for me is the movie, "The Wall".  Love the album, but the movie freaks me out!

Just watched Monty Python's The Holy Grail.  All those boys had to be on something to come up with THAT brilliant movie!  One of the best ever!  (Thank you, kidlet for choosing to watch that for an English presentation with me!)

And an aside, but the other we ALMOST watched was This Is Spinal Tap.  I think this is another of those that there must have been at least some weed partakement  :D

I watched the show "Legion" a while back.

Really wish I could have saw this show for the first time tripping on acid and binged watch it from the beginning all night long. At least the first season.
