Am I the only one who hates commercials so passionately that I have to fend off the urge to jab out my eyes and eardrums to stop my brain from feeling raped by ads?
Even at the movie theaters they're playing commercials before the movies. I counted 31 damn commercials (aside from movie related stuff which is to be expected) once.
*shakes fist at the necessary evil of advertising*

No, I hate them too.  In fact, I have a dream related to them I will post soon.

Oh good! I thought I was the only one for certain on that. I know people who actually like watching commercials. :huhwhat:

Nope to that!
Am I the only one who prefers when my partner is not in bed with me for the night?  (Cuz that's when I can have my WBTB alarm!)

Am I the only one who kisses my dog on the snout?

Am I the only one who sings like crazy in the car to my IPhone?

Am I the only one who thinks I can really sing well in my car?

Am I the only one who can actually sing both parts of "You Don't Bring Me Flowers" and can actually hit Barbra's high notes AND Neil's low notes?

Not at all. iadr prefers a good flying or floating dream to anything he's ever experienced in the physical.

Certainly not. iadr's been sleeping by himself in his own bedroom for years in order to be able to have alarms going off during the night and to be able to listen to suggestions to help in becoming lucid.

Are we the only one who drinks so much carrot juice (4 pounds of carrots a day now) to keep from getting skin cancer, that it turns our skin orange? And it works, as a couple of years ago when we were drinking a lot less carrot juice, and were out in the sun at Disney way too long one day, that our partially bald head got sunburned, and we got a couple of black spots on our head that appeared to be cancerous, and were really sore, we went on a carrot juice diet for 3 days which caused the black spots to completely disappear. We're a lot more careful to put sunscreen on now, in addition to drinking more carrot juice.

When I did share a bed I considered bed time for sleeping and dreaming. Nothing else. Apparently my bedmate had other ideas.
I started sleeping on the couch and have been ever since.

I never see anyone else walking, just people driving past in their cozy cars.

Nope. And I do it by choice. We live in the Chicago suburbs, and I walk my dog every morning. 20-30 minutes depending on how much time I have. Sometimes as early as 4:30 am. She will be 15 in May and has some joint and strength issues now. But she's a bad ass, and does not let the weather stop her. Can't imagine who she learned that "bad ass, I won't be stopped I must have my way"  - thing from?    ;)

Am I the only one that imagines conversations between mixed media characters?

Like Spock from star trek talking with Hermione from the harry potter series?
or Commander Shepherd from the mass effect video games talking with Buffy from the vampire slayer show?

Am I the only one that can drink two tall Monster energy drinks and then fall right to sleep? Until my bladder wakes me up again having to piss it out that is.

We'll see I guess. I have no idea if it's something that will burn out, or just keep getting worse. Or burn out and keep coming back year after year like the flu does.

Well probably won't be the end of humanity as there have been some pretty bad ones in history and humans are still here.  However, a documentary I was watching was saying that any new pandemic has the potential to kill more than any in history. Mainly because of the population explosion since previous pandemics, ease of travel. And some other reason I don't remember. Something about farming and live stock I think. Then of course, there are the other side issues that we are already seeing. Hoarding of supplies, people running out of food and supplies. Loss of jobs all of which causes it's own problems.

Yesterday I read the Mall Of America has closed.

Am I the only one that ever wonders why in this day and age of such advanced technology and supposedly brilliant minds. We don't have a better and easier way to attach a light bulb cover to a light fixture on the ceiling than those stupid screws that so annoyingly and frustratingly never want to seem to grab the cover no matter how far you unscrew the screws before holding up the light cover... Blah.

Am I the only one who thinks that the Corona Virus is actually the Earth's antidote against humans?

Also, now I'm going to be wondering why light fixtures have not been technologically advanced. Anyone remember touch lamps? I thought those were amazing back when I was a kid. They were like, Star Trek level advanced to me.  :chuckle:

Could be, if it wasn't purposely engineered as some are theorizing. But the planet does, I think, eventually restore the balance. The conditions for life are kind of fragile and there are so many things that could threaten it.

I remember those touch lights those were pretty cool. With the light fixtures I always wonder why there isn't just a quick and easy way to clip or snap them into place instead of dealing with those stupid frustrating screws... I feel like I should invent it and bring it to "Shark Tank" Now someone will probably read this and do it. And I'll be like "You fuckers stole my idea!" Lol. just kidding have at it, I'll just be thankful someone made a better way to do it.

Am I the only one that thinks chips and salsa is one of the most delicious foods there is? Especially when the salsa is doctored up with extra jalapenos and hot sauce. I vow to eat more chips and salsa if this thing is ever over, lol. I have one bag of chips and one jar of salsa in my food stores. I'm going to eat them very slowly and savor every little bite, lol.

You're not the only one. I love chips and salsa as well.
