04 Nightly Mantra

Nightly Mantra

Taking time before bed to affirm that you will have a lucid dream is very helpful.  It helps to relax you and to focus your intent on having a lucid dream.

A mantra does not need to be complex, poetic, or long.  It IS helpful if a mantra evokes an emotional response in you.

A simple example mantra might be:

Tonight when I am dreaming,
I will know that I'm dreaming
When I know that I am dreaming,
I will be free to do those things my heart desires.

After you have turned out the lights and are relaxing for sleep, repeat your mantra for 5-10 minutes or better yet until you relax to the point you lose concentration.
