Wow, that wasn't really a very fun lucid, was it?  Maybe it wasn't as disturbing or scary as it reads; sometimes the tone of a dream is not too bad even if it sounds like it's not a good dream.  It was dark when you went into the WILD; that always happens to me when I successfully WILD and usually the whole dream stays much darker than DILDs.

since it was my first LD ever i was amazed at the quality of the vividness, storyline and duration.  you can be assured that since that day, i haven't yet had an LD which was as terrifying...  happily! 

it was an odd duality for me in this one.  best way to describe it (for that portion of it) is like it was a 3D horror movie which i knew to be a dream, but i was terrified from it since it was so shocking and encompassing.  i knew i couldn't be harmed, but being the first LD for me, i didn't know WHAT to try or do, so i just basically lived thru it.  i did go into the next part very calmly though... which was cool.

it reminds me of what Billy Bob used to write about the multi-universes (although i never knew of this concept at that time in Jan) about creating a universe for an LD and giving it its own physics, and then just being there and interacting with it.  it gives an entirely different effect than "here's my sandbox and i am king" type LDs.

yeah, one of the DILDs i have had since then was the most amazing experience LDing...  i think it comes up in march.

good question!  search me.  i have a hard time remembering other's explanations about this, and i think they were just guessing anyways!     i still enjoy looking at my hands when they are like this.  besides it giving me the confirmation that i am dreaming, it gives me something fun to experiment with.  and you know how i like to experiment in my dreams!

WORK PARTY
dreamed of a coworker and i was answering some questions.  then i dreamed of me being at a work party.  i remember someone saying “glad you all could come”.  i think it was a director or VP.

MOVIE WITH 3 GIRLS
i was watching a movie with 2 girls and ai.  we were all sharing a u-shaped sectional couch.  ai was across from me and girl 1 (early 20s) was next to me on my left (tight curly brunette) and flirting with me, and her friend (girl 2) was to the left of her, on the other section.  ai was to her left.  the t.v. was at the opening in the U shape.  i talked with the 2 girls.  one was joking with me.  the friend was having fun with the girl i liked, saying “he is interested in you.”    

COWORKER IN BASEMENT
a coworker and i were in my basement.  all looked normal except for these shiny red kitchen cabinets which happened to be opened too. odd.  my coworker was talking about “swinging both ways” (i said, “with all types of girls, i hope!”)  odd convo like always with the coworker!

i saw a cop friend i know from a local restaurant.

ORGANIZED CRIME
i was a part of an organized crime network.  i remember being in a bar and kissing a girl.  i said to a man to “keep me in”.  when leaving i told him “i love you, you know?”  he and this woman assured me that nothing bad will ever befall me.  “he's our boy!!”

FRAGMENT
was in room with coworker.  talking about finding the right A.M. radio station to listen to... woke up to the A.M. radio!

BOOBS
there was a bouncing waitress with jiggly breasts.  short blonde hair.  ai and i were waiting for a table at chineese restaurant.  it was crowded.  we were having way too much fun with it. 

COWORKER AT HOME
dinner with a coworker back at our house.  it was again a morph of our home and my mom's and dad's.  he walked around the kitchen when he arrived and smelled the food on the stove.  it was something italian.  and he sat at the table ready to eat.  i tried to clean up some items on the couch (clothes and blankets).

ODD DRIVE
me and others in car.  female driver told us to go down the stairs into the trunk and just relax down there.  i remember we did and it didn't seem a bit of a strange request.

STREET BOATING
at a fictional friend's family's house in my current hometown by the water or a canal-like area.  older couple.  very kind.  i was sitting at their table with them and was listening to their advice about how not to get taken advantage of.  i was shown her chips (!). odd.  then i wandered outside to meet another family who was trying to get their 2 fat boys (hairy men) to water skii down what appreared to be a water-street (canal-like).  i saw their first attempt and it wasn't flattering..  in fact, at first they were under the water and got pulled up. and i was surprised there was 2 of them.  somehow i got involved in this task and was on the boat rowing to help them.  the older woman of this family was barking out orders and i was having fun trying to show off and row faster, because behind me in the boat there were 2 beautiful teens in white bikinis steering the boat and of course i was flirting with them.  i know i called one of them lucky and she asked why.  i told her because she is so beautiful, and she said, “well i know i am, but how does that make me lucky?”  very conceited, i suppose.  after another failed attempt, the earlier kind family's father (and now his son) appeared wading through the water with some chips in a bag for me and was wondering what was going on.  he was surprised that i was being “used” like this and taken advantage of.  i was grateful to him for his advice and ate some of his chips which had some green leaves on them for seasoning i suppose.  this was similar to the pizza i ate last night IRL.  he ate some of my chips (i don't know where i got them from) and i then woke up.

FAIR
walking at an indoor fair or market with a girl who was a little overweight.  there were lots of people there and many of them were staring at us and making comments, being mean.  a few were extremely rude and called us both fat and i remember one woman i got so mad at i gave her the finger and told her (while walking away), “well at least we aren't major bitches like you!”  there was also a line dance with SO many people.  some thin poor older man (40s) with a beard was hitting on this cute asian girl (20s).  she was having fun with it.  i was amazed and just watching.

BEACH DRIVE
i was a driver in a race or challenge and our goal was to make it down to the beach or amusement park near the beach.  i remember listening to the radio to get clues while driving, and i remember other people relying on me (either in my car or just in general).

JAPANESE BUS TERMINAL CROWD
i was at a festival, big crowd there, and i remember a bus terminal.  a lot of people, mostly japanese all moving in different directions.  there was a teenage japanese boy that went crazy and got violent somewhere in the distance, and when i tried to run towards it to help, other DCs (middle aged japanese males) all tried to keep me away from it. 

i must have had dinner there or something similar with friends because i remember a pot with a slot in it for the handle (on each side) and it rested on a wooden block.  it was very japanese looking to me, but when i showed ai IRL, she never saw such a thing.

at the end of the dream also i was in a limo, and other people all got out.  the driver explained that although the cost of the limo was included and taken care of by someone, the tip (if i chose to leave one) was not.  i remember looking for my wallet and it was not in my back pocket.  my cell phone was and my keys were in my front pocket.  then i searched and searched on the back seat and found my wallet lying there next to a blanket.  another driver came in the passenger side (i was in the back) and he and the driver were talking about someone giving them a tip of $50.  i reached in my wallet and took out a $5 and gave it to my driver.  he took it, but never said thanks, or even acknowledged it.  i was a little miffed, and left the limo.

THE SOFTBALL GLOVE
i was playing in a softball game and i realized when i was at the game that i forgot my glove back in the car when i parked.  i had to walk back to the parking garage where i parked so i could get it.  i played a little softball at first, but had to leave rather abbruptly and walk through a large mall and then into a hotel and then into the parking area (seemed like where herman's was in the mall).  took forever to get there.... amazing detail in this dream.  the garage was so dark and the location of my car in it was twice confirmed, and even my trying to go a different way in the darkness. it was really very well made by my imagination.  the parking attendant at the hotel was clear with me, but very problematic in how he dealt with situations. 

after convincing the parking lot attendant that i should be able to go back and get to my car (i had to leave my house keys with him as collateral) i got to the car and got my glove and then i was leaving and i forgot to get my house keys so i returned and the attendant was busy with his manager (who he would be in trouble with if he knew he let me do what i did) so he motioned for me with his eyes to go away to the waiting area while his boss was still around.  i was looking at the people in this area and they were eating strange “new” type of food as dessert.  they seemed in a trance from the food and i was thinking how odd everything was.  this is where i met a crazy large woman who kind of hijacked me to her room. 

the woman deterred me from returning to the game and she undressed, telling me to wait for her.  she showed me her underwear on her... ugh!  and then sprayed soooo much old-lady perfume on her sweaty body.  ugh!  after two times of her changing clothes and also her telling me she had to call her grandfather i got fed up and left on my own.  i got my keys and then left to return to the game and i got sidetracked on the way back.  i remember being down by another part of the mall and i was trying to find the stadium but misplaced it kind of.   i walked outside finally and then just walked around the outside of the mall.

AMI AND I
ami and i ended up alone for some reason and we spent much time together.  it was a weeknight.  very slowly this flirting was turning into more.  i was telling her or hinting at my feelings for her.  she was close to me and she whispered to me “kiss me”.  we did then, over and over.  it felt so good.  each and every kiss was so soft and good.  for both of us.  we did it so much and she said, “it is ironic how this is the best kiss i ever had!”  i think she was referring to the fact that she never expected me to be so good at kissing!  i said in return, “it really isn't surprising. as i have lots of experience!”  at one point i noticed it was 10:10 pm (very clear on the clock - checked repeatedly) and i remembered i had to pick up ai at school.  ami and i talked of how i really needed this feeling which she gave me, but also of the hurt i felt when i talked to her about dreaming and her response was so cold and mean.  she said she was sorry.  i told her we will do this again soon.  she was happy also.  all of this happened in a store near pathmark.  i then drove with her to main street in a town as i needed to find a shop for window blinds which ai wanted for the house.  the store was already closed, but a woman who seemed in a trance was sitting behind the front door of this store.  i kind of awoke her and made it clear i should be able to come in and buy the blinds.  it was clear that this dream was working for me, and becoming more compliant.  nice for a change.

TRAFFIC ACCIDENT
i was involved in a traffic accident where i was in the left lane on some highway.  my mom was in the car and standing so that her torso stuck out of the sun roof.  a few cars ahead of me i noticed a 70's or 80's car spinning around 180 degrees to avoid a pothole.  i got over quickly to avoid the pile-up but ended up grazing the guard-rail and a car and then stopped on the shoulder.  there was a place for us to wait then, like a park where the police would come and take care of everything.  i noticed my sister and one of her friends were there waiting for us to finish.  i don't know where they came from.  it was a big crowd and i remember the police walking around with handcuffs.  my brother called my cell phone while we were there and i talked with him.  also i remember talking about my brother's little boy (odd, he doesn't have one!) when we were on the phone. 

CELEBRATION
tomo was having some kind of celebration party and ai and i somehow arrived in the same place by chance.  he felt very guilty and tries to explain to me that this was really not supposed to happen this way.  i forgive and just get on with it all.
