I have read, and experienced standing on one leg until it is very tired, then the other for same effect - this is supposed to help you sleep better, but that is if you can get to sleep. (And I should remember that as have had problems getting back to sleep recently

Agree with pj. Also, tensing up toes, letting them relax, and slowly work up your body, doing the same with each muscle group helps the body relax as well.
Going to bed at the same time (routine), not being in front of a computer for a while just before going bed, no caffeine if it bothers you after a certain time of day, good diet, ultimately taking care of yourself. Good luck, hope some of that helps! (Now, to listen to my own advice
