Binocular Comet Lovejoy heading our way:
http://www.skyandtelescope.com/astronomy-news/observing-news/binocular-comet-lovejoy-heading-c2014-q2-lovejoy-1211142/I've been out looking for this but there is too much light pollution. And since its the holidays and everyone is either busy, tired, or bitchy, I can't get anyone to take me to a decent dark sky site.

January 31st it will be close to Lepus's nose but by then the moon will be interfering with viewing. So I've got from now till the 28th to try see it.
After that the best time, according to the article, to see it will be Jan 7th and after. It should start glowing brightest for its best two weeks, as it crosses Taurus and Aries high in early evening.
